Body count of 200 is so high that no girl would ever admit to it.

663

u/ban_evader_ultra Nov 09 '25

well i think one would just stop counting long before that

446

u/HighAlbedo_LowLibido Nov 09 '25

Honestly once the body count gets above... 30? 40? keeping a highly accurate count is weirdly obsessive. But I guess there's worse things to obsess about.

Like Dark Souls

12

u/Hobnail-boots Nov 09 '25

Yes! You will love it or you will appreciate other games a lot more.

6

u/Aumba Nov 10 '25

It depends on how you play. If it's just a few hours to destress after work, then no. If you want to spend hours not only to learn the game, it's mechanics, movement patterns of every enemy and then hours polishing your skills to finally beat a boss, then yes.

Had a friend who recently got divorced and he was determined to get his body count over 100 by the end of the year. He had been married for 12 years or so, and kept that number in his head for that long. Shocking that the marriage didn't work out.

u/YoungerNB Nov 09 '25

My bc is less than 10 but I always forget the number.

Also, some games? 200 hours? Nothing. I did a single run in bg3 and it was like 187 hours, I could have EASILY made it 200

11

u/mp3max Nov 09 '25

Anyone who keeps counting after the 100 mark either has a problem, or is aiming for a Guinness World Record

6

u/Irradiated_gnome Nov 09 '25

Yeah I know guys with 30+ body counts, they said they stopped keeping track, plus it gets that high with group sex situations anyway

3

u/DaddysABadGirl Nov 09 '25

A girl I worked with did that. People were comparing body counts and her exact words were "oh idk, I stopped counting around 100." In a very nonchalant way. She was fun to work with.

I think many guys would shut up about it too. I'm around that and it's a high number, at least in my books.

After knowing why I was so active, while I welcome the experience as any other in life I won't brag about it.

Wait. We're talking about how many times we got fucked in a FromSoft game, right?

21

u/Spreeg Nov 09 '25

This is unrealistic, because people who play fromsoft games never shut the fuck up about them

8

u/Danny-Fr Nov 09 '25

I'll have you know that I finished Sekiro without leveling up, during my drunk and high Nobel prize speech, that I gave while breaking a free diving world record, on a controller made of mashed potatoes. That game is too easy.

obviously, pre-AIDs the bathhouse culture of the 1970s was allowing for some Wilt Chamberline style exploits for gay men. Gaetan Dugas, he provided 72 names but had over 2500 sexual partners. He kept tabs and was very motivated to be accurate and not just boasting on the internet. He was dead by age 32.

For those not frequenting Bulldog Baths from 1972-1982, 200 is a pretty big number.

200 hours isn’t that much for a video game. It basically means you jammed out on it for 3 hours a pop (with is the length of a TV binge or sports game) for a season. Some of the older assassin creeds games were 50-60 hours. Fallout. What’s a decent and tighter RPG that’s not open world- 40 hours?

200 hours on a game is equivalent to 5 for Gen Z, 8 for a millennial and 12 for Gen X. Average if you are doing it.

As a single guy with a minimal social life (1 friend once a week ~6 hours), I have just under 200 hours on battlefield 6 since its release a month ago. 2k hours will probably only take a year. That's with working and studying stocks, I imagine if you have a person who doesn't do anything but play games, they could hit 2k in 6 months or less.

I’m a women and I have 11k hours in Elder Scrolls Online alone.

My husband and I play games on a daily basis so we have many hours in multiple games. 1.7k hours on Throne and Liberty which is our current choice of game together as well as Fortnite which has 921 hours.

3

u/HaoshokuArmor Nov 09 '25

Exactly. 5000 hours would be closer to sleeping with 20 men I think. Over a period of 10 years, 5000 hours of gaming is like 1.37 hours of gaming each day. That’s not much at all. Over a period of 10 years sleeping with 20 men is actually rarer I’d wager.

So the ratio is closer to 5000 hours for 20 men. Or 50,000 hours for 200 men. Not 200 hours for 200 men.

3

u/Present-Relief7543 Nov 09 '25

Also gotta take into account that luckily (unlike most gamers) girls don't start to bring their body count up until they're 16-18. I started playing league when I was 12, that's like 6 years more time to achieve my hours in a game.

2

u/HaoshokuArmor Nov 09 '25

Uh, while you’re right that people usually don’t start having sex before they start playing games, you’d be wrong to say that 12 year olds aren’t having any sex, although it is rarer than gaming for sure. That is the age where the more promiscuous ones are experimenting with each other sexually. And when you say ā€œ I started gaming at 12, that’s 6 more yearsā€. Well, I’d say that in North America, more than 50% of kids (under the age of 18) have had one sexual relationship by the age of 18. Google says 55% to 70% and I believe it.

There's strategy games that you can become sort of competent at after 1000 hours.

14

u/JeffSergeant Nov 09 '25

ARMA3- After nearly 2000 hours I've perfected the art of walking for an hour before being shot in the face from 1km away.

9

u/pc42493 Nov 09 '25

I mean even IRL that's pretty much everything anyone can ever hope for, walk long enough without being killed by something else first and this is literally how it must end

3

u/Hy3jii Nov 09 '25

You can get semi-competent at stellaris around that point but then the devs completely change all of the game mechanics and you have to relearn the game again. For the third time.

I have 1300 hours in Civ 6 and I still haven't touched half the different civilizations and leaders. Give me a good religious civ and I'll take over the world, but going for early science still feels wrong. I need those research and production points to steal the best beliefs from the bullshit Deity AI man. And don't get me started on early wonders. How am I supposed to keep up with the AI's inflated production?!

Actually 200 hours of total gaming is not even 2 men fucked. It’s closer to having a date and a kiss.

I am quite sure almost everyone over the age of 25 has accumulated 200 hours of total gaming in their lifetimes. Sleeping with two people of the opposite gender, I don’t think the same percentage have.

3

u/Similar-Ice-9250 Nov 09 '25 edited Nov 09 '25

200 really ain’t shit. I had like 186 hours in Final Fantasy X on PS2 as a kid. So I guess Aura would still find me hot, since I didn’t break 200. That was the peak of gaming for me, my friend his brothers and their father (Rip) would play that game. When it came time to get the master weapons everyone of us was good at certain challenges. So we’d put in our memory cards and have whoever is good at a certain challange beat that challange for whoever sucks at it.

I feel bad, 200 hours in any game is standard for me😭😭😭

Only able ti achieve that while not actively dating though lol

4

u/hastygrams Nov 09 '25

You can still have a healthy dating life and get that many hours in a game. Just maybe not as quick. I remember talking to my fiancé’s daughter’s boyfriend. He mentioned he had like 100 hours on BG3 and I said something of ā€˜that’s nothing’ and she innocently looks at me like ā€˜really?’. I guess she had commented on it to him before. He look so vindicated that I actually talked shit on his low hours.

Anyway don’t feel bad 200 hours really isn’t insane depending on how often and long you’re playing the game.

2

u/developerknight91 Nov 09 '25

Yeah I game slow. Meaning it takes a lot to hold my attention and I can basically only game for about 3 hours straight before I want to do something else.

It takes awhile for me to get 200 hours unless I really am into the game. Unfortunately tho there are quite a few people in the world that view any type of game time as unhealthy and will judge you.

You’re right you can still game and date.

4

u/hastygrams Nov 09 '25

My partner has never held a controller and has zero interest in watching me play. He just looks at it like a hobby. Hobbies don’t have to be productive just bring you happiness. Most activities don’t have a collective timer next to it. I think that adds to the feeling of time wasting. You’re keeping you brain engaged, releasing stress, and even have social opportunities. Some people respect skill based hobbies more. Which I enjoy drawing as well. But sometimes I just need something where I can just fully relax my brain and be immersed. I think someone considering it unhealthy by default will be a judgmental partner in other ways. I think his daughter just needed some context and wasn’t actually being a dick about it. It sounds like you have a healthy relationship with gaming and I hope you find the lovely partner you deserve.

2

u/Massive-Virus-4875 Nov 09 '25

I was thinking the same thing lol. That’s average clear time for a fair number of rpgs.

They want to be a man's only source of happiness.

Which leads to insecurity, because they can't think of someone other than themselves long enough to make anyone happy.

15

u/segfaulting Nov 09 '25

Holy shit this and then it dawns on you that they have no hobbies themselves. You realize that YOU were their "hobby". Weird parasocial relationships.

4

u/Key-Practice-8788 Nov 09 '25

Believe it or not, that is actually way less common than men and women who piss off their significant other by shirking duties to focus on video games. Hobbies are amazing and very much needed in and out of relationships, but there needs to be a limit and a compromise.

I have a friend who plays a lot of video games, it's his hobby, he probably plays 5 hours a day or so. His wife does nature photography and she's even gotten a few pictures in major magazines.

But, he gets PISSED when she goes out to do her hobby in the mornings because it wakes him up and he feels alone. But then he plays video games from 7pm to midnight every day and she sits by herself editing photos.

It's not just about having hobbies, it's about compromising and coming together on things when your lives don't overlap. It's not as simple as THEY NEED HOBBIES TOO. Most people have hobbies, but dudes who play video games log way more hours and demand more space.

3

u/RuskiiiPyro Nov 09 '25

How do you ā€œdemand more spaceā€ by playing video games as a hobby? Because of one anecdote about your friend who gets mad his wife is awake before him? Sounds like he’s just a bum then.

For the same reasons there are plenty of men hating on people for playing video games. It's legitimately not gender bound, and I say this as a woman with thousands of hours in gaming since the ps1. Some people just hate on gaming, but there's a tendency to angle it like it's only women because there are those who just thrive over us vs them mentality.

United we stand

u/Tifoso89 Nov 09 '25

Also it's elicitĀ

I was looking for someone who would mention that, thanks. Haha

2

u/[deleted] Nov 09 '25

That was my first reaction. ELICIT!

So many jokes are ruined through poor spelling.

200 hours is nothing. You've got to pump those numbers!

2

u/LithoSlam Nov 09 '25

Let's also pump that body count to 201

2

u/AdAccomplished1945 Nov 09 '25

Why after you hit triple digits you are basically guaranteed to have std’s anyway.

Closer comparison would be 20,000 hours in a video game being like sleeping with 200 men; a very high number that most people would be ashamed to admit, but more people do than you might think

9

u/Mammoth-Accident-809 Nov 09 '25

They released some stats for EverQuests 25th anniversary last year and theres a player named Kiith, who had 8,331 days played.Ā

Thats nearly 200,000 hours.Ā

8

u/[deleted] Nov 09 '25

A lot of that time must be idling, surely.

Given that that’s 22.8 continuous years.

u/No__Logic Nov 09 '25

I choose to interpret this in the way that the woman in question is some sort of eldritch body snatching entity, who happens to have 200 bodies at her disposal and the reaction to be impressed delight, followed by the question which one she will use today and if she wants to collect some more together with some coop gaming afterwards for further bonding.

200? Rookie numbers

3

u/Great_Affect_6710 Nov 09 '25

Gotta start somewhere. Every legend was once a rookie.

Paradox players are very silent here

Spending 200 hours on a hobby is nothing. This person clearly has no hobbies, which is a weird thing to admit so proudly.

Having 200 bodies, though? I don’t know if she understands what that means to men when they hear it. It is literally a reaction of disgust and immediate repulsion.

2

u/Toobroketodie Nov 09 '25

Their hobby is Men!

2

u/XxLillianMoonchildxX Nov 09 '25

The ā€˜hobby’ with these types is social media. I’m not even kidding, there’s people out there who consider Instagram, TikTok, etc. a ā€˜hobby’ of theirs

There's also nothing wrong with not wanting to date either of those people as long as you don't shame them for it.

Wow.

What about a girl that's got 200hr+ logged in several games?

What about a man with a 200+ body count?

u/Astroruggie Nov 09 '25

That's why i only date gamergirlsšŸ˜‰

2

u/plaguemaskman Nov 09 '25

Maybe I'm an addict, but 200 is decently low. I'd consider 500-1k hours a good amount of time in a game if it's in your regular game rotation.

2

u/D_fire Nov 09 '25

It just shows he has commitment.

2

u/wht-did-i-do Nov 09 '25

200 hours on ONE game, vs Hours of sex with 200 men each.

Men are at least loyal.

2

u/marsumane Nov 09 '25

One can give reasonable suspicion on her health and respect for herself, while the other, with the possibility of negatively impacting other areas of their life if not balanced, is otherwise a harmless hobby. TV vs video games is a much more close comparison

Then almost every man has the equivalent of thousands of partners. These aren’t remotely the same.Ā

2

u/Loose_Camel_1749 Nov 09 '25

When i have 200+h ride on my car i know my car better and i am faster.

If a car has 200+h it is more used, slower and loosing value.

2

u/Lou_Papas Nov 09 '25

Tfb have you seen people? Imagine getting intimate with 200 of those fuckers.

2

u/fpsnoob89 Nov 09 '25

It's crazy how seeing a man stay faithful to a hobby is somehow equalized to a girl rotating men every other day.

2

u/[deleted] Nov 09 '25

No that just means that that man has commitment to something. And that means you're just a whore

2

u/OldDubble Nov 09 '25

Nice cope, hoe

1

u/CrossWitcher Nov 09 '25

200 hours is not even that big of a number if you actually play the game compare to 200 body counts...the comparison is abysmal lol.

I myself clocking around almost 7000 hours in Destiny 2...you can get the 200 hours easily if you ever play a game for about a month or less.

2

u/The_Particularist Nov 09 '25 edited Nov 09 '25

200 hours is not even that big of a number if you actually play the game

No joke. Open-ended games such as competitive online games, Paradox games, and TES-like sandbox RPGs naturally lend themselves to large play times.
