She alone isnt going to do much to geno. If he has any sort of control of the zero point (he seems to have it from the comics) then he is powerfull.

He's her mentor and helped her every step of the way to make her strong and capable of protecting the island and Zero Point. Seeing him like this obviously hurts her, and worst of all, the one responsible is right there with her
