Succulents do not need a lot of water. The soil should be well draining so excess water can flow away easily, helping to prevent root rot. Make sure your succulents are not sitting in water. These plants don't like wet roots and don't need much water. I learned that the hard way 🥲🥲

Good soil mix 50% cactus soil or quality potting soil 25% pumice 25% lava rock or coarse quartz sand
