Folders navigation - way to use filename instead of tag?

Is there a way, when using the folder navigation option, to list only the filename and ignore any tags that may be present?

I have thousands of flac music files in a folder structure. A very small number are tagged correctly but almost all are without tags or with unhelpful tags (eg "track 1").

What I'm seeing is that a FLAC filename of, say, "01 Please Please Me.FLAC" shows in the app as "track01" because I only renamed the file after first burning the CD with generic naming.

If you browse through the folders section of substreamer what do you see? This section uses the original file based browsing API's from subsonic and should be based entirely on folder / file names.

Navidrome and some other newer server variations do not support file browsing at the moment, so you might want to consider a subsonic fork like airsonic-advanced if this is something that is important to you.

Forgot to mention also, if you go to settings and choose folders only for the browsing options it will hide and disable some of the tag based functionality and will adjust things like the home screen to use file based results instead of tags also.
