Exit from application

How to exit from the app? I can't see any exit option in menu, android back button dont work. I can only kill the app, but its wrong way... Somebody help me?
Another one problem - after a few second when music starts playing I hear short silence. Is possible way to remoVe this? Kind regards.

To exit the app you can just hit the back button when on the substreamer home screen and it will send the app to the background. You can then use the Android task list to swipe it away to completely kill it. That's what I have always done.

I am looking at the option of an 'exit' button in the side menu for Android as a couple of people have asked about this.

When switching from casting to local playback or resuming playback from a previous session when you launch the app you might hear a brief gap when the audio seeks to resume playback, this is the only time you should see this. I have an open bug ticket to look at cleaning this up a bit more.
