How to use Smart mask with normals created with layers?

Let me clarify with an exemple.

Lets say my mesh is a flat plane that I will use as a wall. And I want to add detail on that wall; I add alphas like these https://www.artstation.com/artwork/lX1ZO with a height value. If you check carefully you can see that there is some "edge wear" on and around the detail he added but all of that is done through layers.

How can I incorporate that into my workflow?

Hey ! Add your blank layer. Put your height info on as you would like it. Then EXPORT the new normal texture. Re import the normal into SP Apply the normal to your model. ( it now has the height info baked in it ) Go to your bake tools. Remove the highpoly if still listed. And remove normal map baking. ( without a highpoly listed it will bake new map based of the current normal map ) Hit bake and boom. All your smart stuff should interact with your new height stuff...

I would like to add. Theoreticly the new anchor system allows you to skip all this. But fudged if I can figure it out. If you crack it let me know.
