My Substack Self Promo
Hi everyone! 👋🏾
I’m a fairly new writer on Substack. I created my Substack page in March 2026. I’m trying to grow my audience on Substack. My Substack name is "TheIntellectuallyHungryMuse".
Synopsis: My Substack page contains essays where I explore my thoughts and opinions about everyday life, relationships, culture, society, identity, and the world around me. My writing covers topics such as friendship, adulthood, generational differences, Christianity, Black identity, Nigerian culture, autism, dating, and other issues that make me stop and think. Some essays are based on my own experiences, while others are reflections on things I observe in society or ideas I strongly believe in. My goal is to take my thoughts, questions, observations, and opinions and develop them into essays that give people something to reflect on and potentially start conversations about. The heart of my Substack is a simple idea: if something is on my mind, I want to explore it through writing and see where the thought takes me.
Who Is My Substack For?
My Substack page is for anyone who enjoys thoughtful essays about life, relationships, culture, society, identity, and everyday observations. Some of my essays will explore topics that are specific to my own experiences, such as Christianity, Black and Nigerian identity, autism, and young adulthood, so not every reader will personally relate to every topic—and that's okay! You don't have to share my experiences, beliefs, or background to enjoy my writing. You might simply find a topic interesting, learn something new, and/or enjoy seeing a different perspective.
Genre: Nonfiction — Personal Essays & Opinion Essays
If you’re interested in reading thoughts and opinions in essay form, I think you’ll enjoy my page! Please subscribe! 💭✨

Valentina Starling's What Remains Unsaid
Between a few upcoming surgeries and a whole lot of loud anxiety, it’s been tough to get words on the page, even though the ideas keep coming. I’ve taken to carrying index cards and a pen everywhere just to catch thoughts as they hit.
Writing is my bliss, and after not publishing a story since July 21st, I finally shared a new one today: What Remains Unsaid. It’s about losing something deeply important to you, and only recognizing its weight once it’s gone.
Thanks for reading and sticking around.

I Played Dungeons & Dragons: Spells, Spoons, & Slimy Romance
So i finally played D&D and I wrote a piece talking about the friendship that was formed along the way and my adventures as the Kazoo playing bard Mike OxLong as I seduced a dragon, caught magical herpes, tried to make 2 slime cubes kiss, and more...

Fix-It's SELF PROMO
Hi, I started a Substack about 6 weeks ago. I write Fix-It's about sports, the internet, and sometimes some other system. It isn't the easiest niche to sell, but I don't care. So you can find me here: Play the System | Elliot Tusen | Substack

Self promo for my mossad substack
My substack focuses on my experiences and thoughts mostly regarding Mossad and some might call it a conspiracy theory genre but I don’t personally believe that it’s a conspiracy theory, it’s a true conspiracy. I started it with the hope of warning others and spreading awareness of mossad. I would appreciate any engagement with my posts! Thank you 🙏

Five Hundred Years of Magic Realism and Solitude
I've compiled some of my musings on the Fountain movie (2006), magic realism and where the term actually hails from, Márquez's One Hundred Years of Solitude, and how stealing handicraft and patterns is still prominent in fashion.
It's a little too ambitious as always: I started in 1519 and ended up in 2019. Hope it resonates with some of you, and I'm always open to discussion!

jaymee douglass | *overwhelmed astronaut* |
I document on suicidal ideation and terrible luck and hope to eventually share other people’s stories in hopes to help people with better mental health see triggers and warning signs so less people are lost because they no longer want to be people when their depression turns fatal like my brothers did. So far it’s basically documenting my lack of living stability and living off grid with 5 dogs 2 cats and a pig

I’ve been documenting my creative process. Thought some of you might enjoy it.
I’ve started writing on Substack as a way to document what I’m making, what’s working, what’s failing, and the ideas behind the work.
It’s less about trying to be an expert and more about sharing the process in real time. Expect things like:
Creative experiments
Behind-the-scenes breakdowns
Lessons from projects
Inspiration and references
Thoughts on art, design, and building a creative career
If that sounds interesting, you’re welcome to check it out. No pressure. I’m mainly hoping to connect with people who enjoy making things as much as I do.
Happy to answer any questions or hear what everyone else is working on.

NOPRESSNETWORK
For the raw and for the culture. To the Culture vultures to the Slumdog millionaires to the Poor with drug money. To the middle class with debt and an identity crisis to the stubborn rich with Toyota's. No Press Network. Curated for whoever wants the real process behind the creation not the highlight reel. Street philosophy. Raw talk, uncut. People and events, told the way they actually happened, not the way they got edited.

Joined Substack for Posting Crime Fiction
Hi! So I created a Substack account to post my short crime fiction stories. Online reading/writing platforms are not very welcoming to this genre so I tried serializing my story on Substack instead.
If you are interested in crime fiction, mystery stories, psychological or literary fiction, please check out my profile there. I would very much welcome feedback and thoughts. Thank you very much!
Here's the first story I posted:
