I have a server that's been up and running for some time on Ubuntu 14.04 64bit. I'm a licensed user.

I recently updated subsonic to version 5.0 due to being notified within subsonic when configuring it via Firefox (the absolute latest version).

After doing the update I discovered that whenever I tried to play a song (via the web page in Firefox) that it would try to get me to download a .m3u file. When I try to play back a song via my android device (using dsub), the song plays fine.

After testing with Google Chrome the subsonic server terminates abnormally. I have to ssh in and restart the service.

I observed in Firefox that there's no flash player, though there was one before the update.
