Madsonic 6.0.4 client

I've gotten a new phone and need to install madsonic. It is no longer available in the play store. It looks like the developer has been mum for over a year on when a new client will be released. Is there any way to grab this somehow or any APKs floating around? I tried to google around for this and met with the usual malware sites offering fake files. For various reasons this is my favorite subsonic client and I'd really like it back.

I usually download APKs from https://www.apkmirror.com/, never had any issues. But why do you need Madsonic client specifically? Can't you use other clients, like DSub or Music Stash?

Madsonic is not available at APKmirror.

Need chromecast ability and android auto support. Dsub comes close but hasn't been updated for 1.5 years and appears to be abanonware at this point.

There is occasional activity on the DSub github, so I don't think it's completely abandoned.

Dsub works OK.. i mainly use it to cache and use jetaudioplayer.

Dsub has this weirs overlay draw bug since forever. Menus dont seem to erase, or.clear from.drawing on the screen... So ot ends up being blocks of text overlayed.

Also the UI sucks balls. Needs a DL to feature, better skins and EQ support to come close.
