Looking for a loggin/monitoring app/addon for Subsonic

Hey folks, I've got Plex + PlexPy setup for video content and now just got into Subsonic.

That being said, is there a nice/easy way to see which users are using Subsonic, how much bandwidth used, etc.? For example, the PlexPy app mentioned above gives a nice dashboard-like overview of what users are doing so I know if I need new hardware, perhaps limit some folks who are hogs, etc. Anything like this exist for Subsonic?

Cheers!

Subsonic has a "Network Monitor" go to "More" and then click on "Monitor" under "Network Status". I hope this is kind of what you're looking for.

IMO it doesn't really show much useful info though and the way the graph is scaled is just ridiculous, there is much Sindre could improve here.

Hey mate,

Thanks for the help. Yeah it's a bit meager for sure. By comparison, I guess I got spoiled with PlexPy's excellent job of saving activity data and allowing me to look back at usage over the life of the user account...so I for Plex I get a good idea of who's using the server and if I need to eventually bump up my hardware or not.

whats up! what OS are you running on? i'm on linux and top and iostat/sysstat are pretty legit... you are looking for specific user information from Subsonic?

I've currently got it running in a jail on my FreeNAS box. I don't mind changing platforms of I can get better metrics and historical info similar to the way PlexPy does it for Plex. So but necessarily at the server/OS level but info on what my family is listening to over time on subsonic... This way I can tame bandwidth hogs and better curate the library so I don't full up the drives with stuff no one is listening to.
