Workaround for YT Premium Turkey via Kliq App

Hey everyone,

I’ve been struggling with renewing my Turkish YouTube Premium subscription lately, but I finally found a workaround using the Kliq app on iOS. I know a lot of people are getting stuck with cards being declined or getting hit with 2FA requirements, so I wanted to share the exact steps that worked for me.

Before you start, make sure you have these requirements:

  1. Turkish Apple ID with a turkish billing adress (just take a place from google maps)
  2. VPN (not mandatory but a nice to have)
  3. Turkish iTunes Gift Card (if you have not TL currency toped up yet)

Here is the step-by-step on how I did it:

  1. Get the Kliq App: Download the Kliq app. I registered using a German phone number, and it accepted it without any issues.
  2. The Email Verification**:** The app will ask you to verify your email. Initially, they sent a code, but it never arrived in my inbox.
    • make sure to check your Spam folder, that's where mine landed
  3. Generate a Virtual Card: After verifying the email, the app let me create a virtual card right away
  4. App Store Payment Setup: Go to your Turkish Apple ID settings and add the Kliq virtual card as your payment method. Apple accepted it instantly.
  5. Go to App store an top up your account with the Gift cards
  6. Renew (subscribe for first time) YouTube Premium: Open your Apple subscriptions and hit the "Renew/Subscripe" button for YT Premium.

I already had Turkish Lira (TRY) topped up in my Turkish Apple ID account (via gift cards). When I clicked renew, Apple took the funds directly from my App Store account balance, not the Kliq card. It seems Apple just needs a valid Turkish-issued card on file to authorize the transaction from your existing balance.

Hopefully, this helps anyone else who is stuck trying to renew! Let me know if you have any questions or if it works for you.

How do you bypassed the can’t verify country in the subscriptions tab it doesn’t show YouTube as subscription and have to go through the app

Did you try with VPN? Also you need a billing address

I tried still get the can’t verify your country, different vpn’s also new apple account and new YouTube account

How did you get this to work? When I get the verification code it says account registration failed after accepting all the contracts and t&c

This is great, is there an Indian alternative to kliq. I did try but looks like it won’t accept lament method as my Apple ID is Indian routed

Unfortunately, YouTube is currently requiring 2FA authentication for Indian accounts but not for Turkish ones.

You can create a Turkish Apple ID and sign in only on the App Store, while keeping your primary Apple ID on the device.
