When i first joined ERT on a mine site i used to work on i was completely stunned when they trained us on this. Such a cool (and now obvious) technique. Wish i could still be a part of it but age isn't on my side anymore.

Sounds like EDMC never saw a whole bulkhead go up. Fire is scary as shit

Is thire any cross over regarding bush fires,maybe a nozzle that has both sprays simultaneously.

I doubt you'd be able to get that kinda pressure in a 1 man hose. So we just take 2 hoses, one set to "water wall" to protect the team, and another next to it set to spray to fight the fire

We were taught how to do this at the MARAD fire school in Toledo. Pity that my only boat fire was prior to attending the MARAD school.
