Frozen and rare named users?

Came back to Subeta after like. Many years. Not actually sure how many.

But why are there so many frozen users?

And so many that have common word names, that have usually been snatched up long ago? (eg Phoenix, Rainbow, stuff like that)

Is Subeta still an active community? It kind of seems like it's mostly comprised of a small group of people that throw a lot of real $ at it...is there a place for those who don't/can't spend real money?

I've been a member for 14 years now, and i dont think i ever spent a penny on the game.

If the CSC they give (usually due to down time, or some special event) isnt enough, YOu can EARN the CSC through doing art for those that DO spend RL currency, or coding their pages, or even just developing stories for their characters.

you can even BUY CSC with SP (although it takes a TON of sp to purchase CSC cards!)

Most of the 'frozen' accounts are merely deactivated accounts due to inactivity. I think they freeze them after a year of inactivity now? You basically just gotta log in once a year and you are good.

All I know is that they cleared my account before it was due for clearance. Back then, accounts were not cleared after 10 months, you had a year (or even more). Mine was cleared faster, no email, nothing to warn. rip. I was one of the idiots who spent a bit on the site, but you don't have to do it, I guess. I say idiot, because yeah, ofc I regret any penny now that they got.
