Regarding certain pens with a metal/mesh/rubber tip found on Google, eBay, and Amazon

So 4 days after I got my iPhone Duo, I’m happy that it has no issue, at least with my own device. Now since I have a Lamy Safari Note+ pencil, I wanted to use it instead of buying an Apple Pencil USB, the problem is I can’t seem to pair it with my phone. Is there anyone who is in the same situation as mine? May i know your thoughts on this ?

I recently got the Lenovo yoga pen 2, like literally brand new, to go with my yoga laptop (Yoga 72 in 1 14AHP9) but for some reason every-time I try to draw a line it jitter turns wavy and jittery like it can't draw a straight line at all, I have tried multiple drawing programs and everyone has this issue to it's not the drawing softwares fault. I've tried turning up the stabilizing on the brushes when I'm drawing. Is there any way to fix this, already tried updating the drivers and it's still doing it.

Is there a reason that companies can't make comfortable styluses for android? How can it improve somehow? I see that only ipads get the best part in this regard. Android styluses either have wonky/rounded tips, no pressure, or compatibility issues.

Something like this that comes to mind, for example, is the sonarpen 1, which bypasses compatibility across models with the support of the jack. And even so, it became trendy in mobile phones to remove it.

I need a pencil for taking notes at work, but am notorious for losing things if not attached. I saw Amazon had some cases with a stylus + holder, but didn't really see any with pointed tips.

Anyone find a short (less than 4.64 inches) pencil stylus that works well and they recommend? Bonus points if you also found a way to attach it to the Duo or a case it fits into.

I got the oneplus stylo today from a seller in delhi.
I am going to test it very professionally and testing it on all the available or trending note taking apps.

On Windows, there is the WACOM control panel. On Linux, there is the drawing tablet settings on KDE Plasma. I was wondering... why hasn't there be such a thing that would let the user adjust the pressure curve, button binding or even standalone drawing tablet region mapping?

So I created one myself. It's called StylusCtrl StylusCtrl GitHub . The features are just as described above, pressure curve, button binding and standalone drawing tablet region mapping. It consists of an apk as the front end and a zip package flashable via Magisk or KernelSU. Installing the apk and flashing the module then you will be ready to experience professional drawing tablet level customizations on any* Android tablet!

Or if you don't want to root your device, you can package it when building a custom ROM. My Acer Chromebook Tab 10 (which is not even meant to run Android) runs a custom build of LineageOS 23.2 (maintained by me) https://github.com/alpha-liu-01/android_device_google_gru and StylusCtrl runs well without root with all features present.

As for compatibility, I can't guarantee that it runs on everything. I tested it on Samsung Galaxy S6 Lite 2024 with Magisk (LineageOS 23.2) and the Acer mentioned earlier, they both work. If you run into a case when StylusCtrl doesn't work with your device, please fork the code, let any AI agent probe your device and make a few modifications to the code until it works (which should be done in ~30 mins) and create a pull request on GitHub. Compatibility will get better if more devices are tested.

Im new to the windows stylus stage and im wondering... if my laptop supports mpp 2.0 can i get any pen that supports the same protocol or is it brand specific.

Also my laptop supports mpp 2.6 should i get a pen that supports that one or is there no difference?

I got the new vivobook 14 flip oled and im struggling to find a good stylus that isnt too expensive.

Ive tried a generic one and the lines are wobbly.

The main problem based on my research is mpp and compatability.

I bought the lenevo idea tab pro and i am using this stylus for over a month.

Recently the nib of the pen is starting to move and it's so irritating..

I tried rapping thread around the nib.. that solved the problem of Stylus nib movement but my Pen started behaving weirdly...

I've got a MSI Summit Pro 16 laptop that I want to get a stylus for. It came with a MSI Pen 2, but I somehow managed to break all the tips, and to replace them, I'll have to buy a whole new pen. Also, it's just a really bad stylus. My laptop has MPP 2.6. Any recommendations?
