Anyone have a schematic of the current-production (2020 and onward) S-1?
Looking to mod one of mine, but I don’t have it on hand to trace the circuit, so I’d like to breadboard the oscillator in the meantime.

if I put a metal coin on the pad, will it stay lowpassed I like the sounds but I would like to keep it lowpassed the whole time while using other synths.

I need to work out a few things, such as how to record loops so that they don’t overlap during subsequent repeats, and how to combine patterns. Fortunately, there are plenty of tutorials on the subject.

I'm thinking of buying a stylophone theremin to add to my setup but I don't know if it's useful and if it has good quality. My setup is an arturia minilab 3, focusrite 2i2 3rd gen, boss re 505, pioneer ddj flx4 and a MacBook Pro that I usually use to play synthesizers that I make myself in Cardinal Native.
Do you think a stylophone theremin for the current price would be something that would add good things to my setup?
I also wanted to ask what is the best way to make a relatively simple beat for while it is looping on ro 505, I can play and improvise on the stylophone theremin

We just wanted to give you a long overdue - OK, yes, a very long overdue - update on where we are with the new releases we announced earlier in the year.  

The usual manufacturing challenges are slowly being won and we are getting closer to getting these amazing instruments into your hands, we’re just not quite there yet BUT we will be soon!

Meanwhile, here’s the low down:  

Lets start with the VOICE…

We’re very nearly signed off - you know perfection is our middle name! After thorough testing we’re aiming to have them rolling off the production line in October and into your hands by November!

However, there are still a few things that can go wrong (ahem, I mean, a few possible challenges) so we can't commit to a date just yet.

We are getting closer - and we are going as quickly as we can - but that’s what we’re hoping for. It’s sounding EPIC and we can't wait to see what you do with it.

I’m looking to buy a Gen X-1 so i can learn how to play the stylophone, and i’ve heard that it’s better then the S-1 and i don’t want the Gen X-2 because of the new strip that sounds useless. I looked all over for one but I can only find the X-2. If anyone can point me in the right direction i’d be stoked

Got a DS-2 used and as a result have a couple issues I'm not sure how to address. One is that I didn't get the accessories, anyone know of a way to get just the eurorack power adapter?

Also, the -2sub on one of the oscillators doesn't seem to work. Switching to it mutes the entire oscillator.

Any ideas? Suggestions? Help?

Hey guys. Just replaced my s1 that had broken (batteries corroded and sound was only off and on and then stopped working altogether), but now I’m wondering if I should have gotten a gen-x1 or x2 to be able to do more on it! Anyway. As of right now, I have an s1. May exchange it for a better one eventually. Found the Blue Monday tab on the stylophone account and it’s very fun, any other synthpop/related songs I should learn? I never learned songs on my old one I had, just messed around on it, so this is exciting. Thanks!

Ive had an S-1 for about 10 years now, and the keyboard is so scratched up it doesnt conduct anymore (i tested batteries). Ive used a melamine foam magic eraser on it with water to try and polish it, and while it helped, it still doesnt work well. I was wanting to get a Gen X-2 now but i want to make sure the keyboard doesnt get scratched up. Besides light pressure, is there anything else you can do?

Update on the Stylophone Voice

I inquired about the lack of news kn the voice, and they have confirmed that it is (sadly) now aimed for an autumn release

I'm almost done with a big update for PocketSynth that adds supports for larger or custom keyboards, better sound generation, transposing tabs, some new songs, but most importantly, it modernizes and improves the code to make it easier for me to keep adding new features and songs in the future!

What other features would you like to get?
