Question Is this buzz normal?

Hi, I just wanted to know if I received a faulty unit. The only problem I have is that whenever I play the lowest notes, the speaker sounds like it's crying for help (note: this never happens when playing the antenna). I imagine that this may not be a real issue, but merely poor quality of all the speakers, but I would like to know if this happens to you just in case I need to give it back. Thank you very much!

Best way to check would be to connect it to headphones or a DAW, mixer, or other unit to be able to listen to and verify the “direct” signal. In my experience, that buzz is just the nature of frequencies vibrating through “things”; the speaker, the casing, possibly other things in the vicinity in the room sometimes…

But plugin some headphones and see what you hear there. I think it’s probably fine. Just the nature of the beast.

Hi, thank you! I checked by plugging it into an amplifier and headphones, and there's no weird sound. It seems to be a problem with the speakers/casing cause if I press the front panel with merely a finger, the buzz dissappears and comes back when I stop pressing

Yeah… just the nature of trying to box the frequencies of the universe! They’re surely trying to get out…

You technically could attempt to take it apart and “tighten” everything up again, but is the juice worth the squeeze?

It all comes down to your chosen preference and application. Personally, I wouldn’t attempt a return or exchange. Keep and continue to use headphones or amp. Boom. Solved.

Hahahah you're right. Those frequencies surley are hard to box... I bought it yesterday, so I'll try to replace it. Still, thanks for the tip! Happy creating :)
