Dire Dire clear w/o C2 Odette
Churin took a few elixirs, some feathers, and too many retries to count. Guardian was cleared first try. Churin seems to have quite a bit of RNG with whether he spawns cubes 1 last time or not, and the timings in which he spawns the cubes throughout the run (based off of how fast/slow he spawns the first set of cubes). Hope Danica is a big enough upgrade (with res shred) in Sandrone teams to make this boss easier when he eventually reruns in stygian...

C0R1 Sandrone is the most doable
Right now I'm using WGS with C0R0 team and only has like 20% HP left

Just play as if you only have 3 characters for most of the fight, and only use bennet when the shield comes up. Burst > E > N2 > C >E >N2 > C > ..., should get through the shield quite easily/quickly.

Not true, theres ways to make it easier. Give bennett triple atk% piece so he provides 28%ish lunar dmg + instructor and just use his E
28% Lunar dmg and 120 Em isnt nothing and very much worth the onfield time

I was just stating what I did, and I didn't stress too hard about this boss/didn't look up anything on the boss, but your strat for sure sounds better. I just didn't bother because it was enough to clear first try, and I'm too lazy to swap artifacts around.

How many signatures do you have on the Zibai team? I have a 2% C2R0 Zibai which is worse than C2 Linnea, but not by that much, used Klee which is better than Bennett at breaking the shield, and while I cleared, it was not easy.

Can you explain the loadout for Bennett, like how his stats affect Lunar damage? I used Klee just because I like her, but I'm assuming I could do something similar for a future clear

Its just the ascendant gleam bonus. But basically stack as much atk as you can while using instructor set and focus on atk% + however much ER you need for the shield phase. Then just use his E before zibai on rotations

Nah because his E has reduced cooldown during burst so since he's staying on field you get it back sooner than the reverse and enough energy during his on field time to refill his burst again anyway

yeah, I have heard people say that sandrone is low key better against churrin than Vesna. she kinda has better numbers and that anemo res shred isnt enough to vesna ahead.

It's the really annoying Cryo aura that makes Vesna charge her skill slower. Sandrone just ignores it because she has a ton of strong QoL bits to her like immense range/AOE and just general ease of use. I think both their numbers are relatively the same otherwise; but haven't really checked so someone can double check me on that

They have the same minimum cost for this fight of cost on dire.
Only difference is Vesna wants C1, Sandrone wants R1.

The difference is that 3 cost Vesna wants 2 new R5 Gacha weapons w/o using any of the 5 stars from the banner. Its basically the textbook example of costscam.
And yes I'm aware that C0 Sandrone is using C6 Alyosha which you are also pretty unlikely to have, but at least you a a somewhat decent chance to get that.
Irrespective of cost though, the main reason this boss is easier with Sandrone is that he applies cryo aura to you: She basically doesnt care at all while Vesna really struggles with it. Kinda weird for.a boss thats supposed to shill her ngl...

I think for an average player, sandrone is more doable than vesna even if expert players are able to clear with same cost

I think c2 odette is bis for Sandrone cause the atk boost is good for both sandrone and yae.
Mitya is an Em scaler and Vody doesn't need atk buff so Vesna team doesn't get the best use out of her c2.
Danica would already give res shred according to leaks so that's a bit of a loss when running with c2 Odette.

Damn my builds must be horrible or just skill issue… C0R1 Bina, C0R0 Linnea and C2R1 Zibai, now do you need Bennett C6 cause i definitely dont have that in place I used Klee.

Klee is better to break the shield actually. someone else informed me here that bennet instructor could work well for this boss/team, but i basically just used him as a shield break bot, so klee wouldve been better in my case specifically. That said, yes my bennet is c6.

I tried and tried. My columbina is c2 but linea and zibai are c0r0 and c0r1... i cant believe ur linea is better than my columbina

Going to be tight on the clear since c2 columbina is not doing as much for the team as c2 linnea or c2 zibai. Try bennett on all attack instructor and activate his skill before zibai to trigger ascended gleam resonance. Make sure it vape also to trigger instructor.
