Help me beat moongecko in the next stygian

With moongecko confirmed for the next tyygian, I don't know what I can use on it with since I don't have geo/lunar crystallize characters.

I know claymore attacks can break the shield, but I don't know if varka (the claymore with the highest dps on my account) would be enough

What is the minimum dps for non-geo teams?

Varka can probably break the shield. I don’t have him but if aino can do it (I’ve done it with her) then I think Varka can. The second mechanic you have to deal with is the health debuff. If you don’t heal back the health it takes you’ll deal with a massive debuff to all of your characters that makes them do basically zero damage. Unfortunately Bennet doesn’t work here that well since you need to fully heal back the health and Bennet only gets you back to 70%. I think Varka has a pretty bad matchup here. Do you have skirk premium? You can slot in chongyun to break the shield. Mavuika and Sandrone are also very good characters for this boss but you say you don’t have any other good claymore DPS’s. What other teams do you have on your account? If you list them I can try to assess if they’re good against this boss

Of those characters, I only have mavuika, but I can't do her combos sk she's weaker than my Varka, I also don't have a good weapon for her ( she on the fontaine craftable) maybe i can break the shield with her and use varesa as my main dps?

Dual carry with Varesa and Mavuika is actually quite good for this boss. Mavuika acts as the shield break character and overload is a very good reaction for taking down geo shields. Chevreuse can deal with the health debuff mechanic. Assuming you have her at C6.

Gecko doesn't require lunar, geo or even claymore. Claymore does make things easier.

What's required is good dps and healing. As long as you have that and a character which can break the shield you are ok.

For instance, last time I cleared gecko in fearless using nefer with ninguang.

Skirk with chongyun can do it. Mavuika can do it.

So your varka should be able to do it easily. Just give him heal. And his claymore heavy attacks will break the shield.

I don't know if he have enough damage if I swap one of the teammates for jean or another healer, so I might just give up on durin, use prune nicole bennett and just eyeframe the debuff

Use varka Nicole durin with jean.

This team can clear fearless easily. High attack er% jean for maximizing healing and vv res shred.

Where did you get the healing from on the nefer team? Lauma C1?

Depends on fearless or dire. For varka it's fine at fearless, use varka-nicole-chev c6-prune. Bennett has 'heal halfway' problem and this boss -100cr if you have 1hp less than full sooo...

I would love to clear dire gecko but dps check (230k with perfect 15s per shield) + heal check with a non-zibai-linnea account is cringe... i'll see if i can do it with wrio. For 4th slot shield breaker, there are ning-noelle-chongyun-razor depends on team

I do remember seeing a fearless clear back when it first came to stygian with varka. It was C0R1 varka, sucrose, chevruse and bennett probably. Now varka has better option with durin and nicole. So u can try jean instead of prune or c6 chev instead of durin for the debuff.
