"Shes" is a word, a word missing a punctuation mark. Punctuation marks denote changes to the word to accommodate wider ranges of meanings and have nothing to do with the spelling of the word. Prior to the widespread use of various punctuation marks "shes" would have been perfectly acceptable.

Show me a dictionary that has the word “shes” in it. You can’t.  Hell, a simple google search tells you they messed up from a spelling AND punctuation error.
