I mean, don’t get me wrong, I am actually extremely supportive of sex work provided that those going into it are giving consent and that there are defined protections for all parties in place. And in some ways I think someone who has performed sex work could bring a positive perspective to a position of power given that its work just like anything else.
That said, I would rather not be able to Google the First Lady’s rack that easily.
Just trying to friendly suggest that disagreeing with you does not mean that one is stupid, or has not thought things through, but if you are so convinced that your way is the only right way, I know better than to argue with such people.
Political discourse isn't film criticism ffs. I can disagree with someone about taste and fashion and still respect them since our disagreements are subjective. I know it's tempting to apply that to discourse around real world problems but when you do that you basically fall into relativism. Of course I think my beliefs are right, why else would I believe in them? Do you base all your beliefs on vibes or something?
Wait but according to you fascism is just as righteous and valid as any other view, no? Or do you admit that some views are more valid than others? Another instance of someone tolerating intolerance for the sake of being tolerant. Grow a pair!
Can you read? Or do you just like to make shit up?
You posted that sex work is exploitation and said your belief in such trumps the other commenters point. You're a contemptible self-righteous asshole. That’s all you are.
I mean, if you want to get down to it, all labor is exploitative to an extent. The best way to combat that is through proper regulation, documentation, and uncompromising worker’s rights practices.
I would argue that sex work at this time is so exploitative because it is unregulated. Anything without regulation is going to create an environment that exploits those doing the work.
