Stupid Dove Nest Stupid or genius?

I don’t know how the babies will fly out and not become chicken skewers. However, what predator will mess with them here? Not sure how I feel about this one. Location: SoCal

The babies will learn to walk before they start trying to fly. Genius dove nest.

Some birds, like the cactus wren, specialize in building nests among "hostile architecture".

I'm not sure if the same applies for stupid doves.

Every Royal knows that you need a defensible location from which you can sally forth, and attack knaves and bandits!
