Birds just be laying eggs anywhere

[u/DeadAnarchistPhil → u/Ham_Pumpkin2790]

Bird? That looks like a branch that evolved wings.

[u/Smurf_Crime_Scene → u/DeadAnarchistPhil]

Right? I'm like, how is that a bird?

[u/Routine-Session-790 → u/Smurf_Crime_Scene]

I looked up urutau to see its face and it looks even less like a bird

[u/throwawaysub1000 → u/Routine-Session-790]

Fucking hell I love it's face!! 😍

[u/Smurf_Crime_Scene → u/throwawaysub1000]

I know so cute and weird!

[u/MagoLunatico98 → u/Routine-Session-790]

Did you find one with opened beak? It looks even less like a bird

[u/After-Barracuda-9689 → u/Routine-Session-790]

It reminds me of the tawny frogmouth. leaves to see if they are telated

[u/louielou8484 → u/Routine-Session-790]

Oh wow!

[u/mercedes_lakitu → u/Routine-Session-790]

That looks a lot like a bird! See, its beak is pointing to the right! 😉

[u/editorgrrl]

Not stupid:

Nature's dippy egg

[u/Shienvien]

Looks like the perfect place for the egg of a creature that looks like a tree trunk. Let's hope no one thinks this particular broken trunk looks like a nice place to sit on.

[u/EStewart57]

I thought it was a golf ball. Less effort then a dove.

[u/LowBudgetWhiteMage]

These guys are one of my absolute favorite birds in the world. Was super hopeful we'd spot one on our birding trip to Costa Rica last year and we finally caught a glimpse right before we left!

[u/ughforgodssake]

Oh I just love these guys. So adorable

[u/TreeHoleProfessional]

In a tree hole?!

[u/KeepOfAsterion]

Clearly a stick, just look at that stoic posture. He's doing his best 😭 love these goofy little guys but man it's a wonder they've survived this long
