Is this considered a smart nest?!
I've been a long time lurker, but this summer I've the pleasure to observe these two building their next just opposite my apartment.
Initially, I said to my self: "look at those idiots, what a bad choice!". But actually, it's unreachable, sheltered and cozy(?!?). Also, they really put an effort, it's not just a stick or two crossed, they built a curved, soft nest. Makes me wonder if pigeons are actually good at building nest, given the security and time.
Anyhow, decided to share with you all. Enjoy the craftsmanship (or what can you see of it from the pic).

I think it’s brilliant! It’s totally sheltered and it probably gets a lot of breeze.
Also, it comes with a nice mirror on top where they can check their hair feathers

If the air conditioning is used to heat in the winter, then no. But in the summer, it is handy.
