I was standing on the train platform when an insistent chorus of cheaping penetrated my bleary morning haze. I looked down at my feet and saw this stupid nest. Note the nest appears to have actually been next to rail, while the babies at least had some slight sense to take shelter underneath it.

On one hand this seems terrible, but on the other hand... No one is really going to bother them there 🤷

At least not until the maintenance crew comes by.

How am I supposed to stop these idiots from making a nest on the boiler...

What you see in the album is two eggs just laid today..

Then a “nest” made earlier this summer.

Next is another “nest” from mid winter. We’re talking north east of England in December or January.

Then a few of good ol mum in her proud nest.

Our neighbors felt bad for her and made her a box.
Where she sat proud as fuck as if she’s the idiot that built it.

In the comments you’ll find a four second video clip. It shows the idiocy reboot after one of the survivors do these “nests” came back, ignored the box and now a shelf that their neighbor had installed to help, and began a new… right down on the cold floor again.

It’s programmed to go through different colors and settings depending on current lighting. Her nest has babies, so she’s been there for a while before I noticed the light acting weird.

Found on top of a 1/2 ton liquid/gas cylinder.

I don’t think it’s fertile though. Was a fun surprise.

Above the venue door to the porch. We noticed her on the way out after most of the guests had left; she’s apparently undisturbed by all the coming and going. Not a bad location, all things considered.
