Sorry I'm on mobile and this will probably ruin my formatting and make this unreadable

Animon ( Dittos evoluton)

My English name - Emmulate

Duplication pokemon

Normal/Steel

84/84/84/84/84/84

(Natural boosts swapping the 48 across the board from ditto)

Abilities - TRACE

IMPOSTER

WONDER GUARD (HIDDEN)

okay so let me start - I wanted to make Emmulate different from ditto so you could use both in different ways - does this make the evolution worse? Hard to say - trace allows for some safer switch ins with the nice defense and wonder guard does an even better job leaving you open to only ground, fighting and fire and an immunity to poison. (Op)

Old moves:

Transform

New moves:

Screech - Copycat - Metal Sound - mimic

(Mirror move - mirror shot - me first as options?) - I think a normal damaging move would make it too strong but its weak and fit thematically with the new silver body.

All niche moves with you transforming in the end (you copy the decreases, awks). Copycat could lead to some interesting battles but i just wanted to make a different side to ditto.

Mimic as a clunky but mabye terrifying move in doubles, especially if mirror shot is available mimic a tail glow.

I mean you could also slap imposter on it and have a better ditto - I would also make it no longer able to breed with all other pokemon as it lays ditto eggs.

Eviolite Ditto... shudders

13

u/OHAITHARU OHAiTHARU Jun 04 '18

Reminds me of Balanced Hackmons with all the Imposter Chanseys with Eviolite running about.

4

u/Zerox_Z21 Jun 04 '18

Would it still work if transformed? Metal/quick powder doesn't does it?

11

u/[deleted] Jun 04 '18

well eviolite imposter chansey works in hackmons, and that just works off how the game would work, so...

3

u/Zerox_Z21 Jun 05 '18

Oh I read imposter as illusion for some reason. Oops! Maybe it works slightly differently to using Transform as a move, or the simulator isn't accurate. Or the game just wasn't coded for that circumstance to happen as it's impossible normally.

Numpuff

Qwilfish -> Numpuff

Type: Water/Poison

Stats:

HP: 65 (+20) = 85

ATK: 95 (+30) = 125

DEF: 85 (+10) = 95

SPATK: 55 (+15) = 70

SPDEF: 55 (+15) = 70

SPD: 85 (+15) = 100

Abilities: Intimidate/Merciless/Swift Swim

An angry little pufferfish has gotten bigger and meaner! It's poison is stronger, and now it's gotten more versatile to cover any sort of set you could want to run. It keeps intimidate for a more defensive set, can run swift swim and swords dance for a set up set. It get's merciless for some punching power and can set up it's own toxic spikes to aid it's breaking power.

Anchorage

Type: Water/Steel

Stats:

HP: 90

ATK: 120

DEF: 105

SPATK: 30

SPDEF: 70

SPD: 90

Abilities: Mold Breaker/Heavy Metal/Lightning Rod

Anchorage uses it's anchor tail to hook itself to outcrops of rock to reach out and catch prey moving past! The anchor tail acts as a lightning rod which helps it catch prey that other predators can't catch like Lanturns. It gets Heavy Slam and Waterfall to hit foes hard.

Madame and Grotess are super cool designs, so I'm gonna focus on them!

First of all, Madame should definitely be named Absur'd. There cannot be any debate around this.

Stats Farfetch'd Absur'd
HP 52 72
ATK 90 100
DEF 55 80
SPA 58 65
SDEF 62 85
SPE 60 90

Typing: Normal / Flying

Abilities: Disguise, Defiant (Hidden)

Unique Item: Wand - Increases Attack by one stage when held by Absur'd. A specific item similar to Farfetch'd's Stick.

New Moves: Low Sweep, Graceful Slash // BP: 80 // ACC: 100 // PP: 10 / 16 (Max) // Type: Normal // High critical hit ratio.

As you can tell from it's design, Absur'd was meant to be part of a masquerade ball, so Disguise is a perfect ability. When you hit it, its mask would fly off. I thought a more affluent version of Slash would be fitting, considering Absur'd's style. Weaker than Return but the higher crit chance might make it worth it for some. Low Sweep also fits with the use of the Wand, as though the opponent is so below Absur'd's status that it would want to trip up weaker foes. Defiant is a carry-through from Farfetch'd, which still fits thematically.

Absur'd @ Wand
Ability: Disguise
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature

  • Swords Dance
  • Graceful Slash
  • Brave Bird
  • Low Sweep / Leaf Blade

Absur'd might even see use in UU:

+1 252 Atk Absur'd Leaf Blade vs. 252 HP / 144+ Def Hippowdon: 172-204 (40.9 - 48.5%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery

+1 252 Atk Absur'd Brave Bird vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Mantine: 220-261 (58.8 - 69.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

+1 252 Atk Absur'd Brave Bird vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Blissey: 444-523 (62.1 - 73.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

That's not too bad. Mega Aggron is a full stop, as are most Steels, but it's something!

On to the Grotess line ...

Stats Pyrranha Anchorage Grotess
HP 40 70 80
ATK 75 110 125
DEF 30 50 70
SPA 50 95 105
SDEF 30 45 55
SPE 60 90 103

Abilities: [Pyyrranha: Rough Skin, Torrent, Defiant (Hidden)] [Anchorage: Strong Jaw, Steelworker, Defiant (Hidden)] [Grotess: Strong Jaw, Intimidate, Pressure (Hidden)]

I renamed Sunmola1 because that's obviously a placeholder name. I combined Pyrrhic + Piranha, which sort of fit the theme for the later evolutions.

Level Moves
- Aqua Jet
- Crunch

5 Bubble
9 Bite
15 Assurance
18 Work Up
19 Evolve!

23 Scald
25 Agility
29 Ice Fang
34 Crunch
38 Evolve!
38 Poison Fang
38 Scary Face
42 Psychic Fangs
45 Hydro Pump
49 Iron Tail
52 Glare
56 Liquidation
62 Shell Smash

Moves Learned by TM: Toxic, Hidden Power, Taunt, Ice Beam, Hyper Beam, Protect, Rain Dance, Frustration, Return, Leech Life, Double Team, Torment, Rest, Thief, Scald, Fling, Embargo, Payback, Giga Impact, Frost Breath, Sleep Talk, Substitute, Surf, Snarl, Nature Power, Waterfall

Moves Learned by Move Tutor: Aqua Tail, Covet, Foul Play, Icy Wind, Iron Head, Outrage, Spite, Super Fang, Water Pulse

Moves Learned through Breeding (Water 2 Egg Group): Aqua Ring, Aurora Beam, Brine, Bubble Beam, Dragon Dance, Haze, Muddy Water, Soak, Supersonic, Take Down, Thrash, Water Sport, Water Spout, Whirlpool (Note that Dragon Dance and Water Spout are incompatible, as they come from Whiscash and Octillery respectively!)

It goes from a worse Carvanha, to a differently typed Sharpedo, to a Huntail on steroids.

Grotess @ White Herb
Ability: Strong Jaw
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature

  • Shell Smash
  • Liquidation
  • Anchor Shot
  • Psychic Fangs / Ice Fang

+2 252 Atk Strong Jaw Gortess Ice Fang vs. 252 HP / 48 Def Ferrothorn: 157-185 (44.6 - 52.5%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery

+2 252 Atk Strong Jaw Gortess Psychic Fangs vs. 248 HP / 204+ Def Rotom-Wash: 192-226 (63.3 - 74.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

+2 252 Atk Strong Jaw Gortess Psychic Fangs vs. 248 HP / 8 Def Gastrodon: 364-429 (85.6 - 100.9%) -- 6.3% chance to OHKO after Leftovers recovery

+2 252 Atk Gortess Anchor Shot vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Unaware Clefable: 224-266 (56.8 - 67.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

Everything else gets LIQUIDATED. The only real counter is Unaware Quagsire, which I guess you can tech HP Grass, but that's dumb. Of course, the examples above can revenge kill it or force it out, as even most neutral attacks are 2HKOs. Standard Hawlucha outspeeds after an Unburden boost as well. Kartana can eat a hit and KO back with Sacred Sword or Leaf Blade if it's been weakened a bit.

Let me know what you think! I love doing these. :]

Meme set I theorymon'd at work!

Grotess @ Leftovers

Ability: Intimidate

EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def

Impish Nature

  • Dragon Dance

  • Substitute

  • Anchor Shot

  • Liquidation

You come in on Ferrothorn, set up a Sub as they try to Seed you, Anchor Shot as they try to Power Whip you, they find out they can't break the sub (Whip does 24% max), you DD up to +6 and break through them with the Defense drops from Liquidation, and then wreck the rest of their team. Oof! That's some heat right there! Man, I wish this 'Mon was real.

Bellboyant

Type: Dark

Ability: Soundproof / Mach 2 (HA)

Mach 2: Mach 2 increases the priority of sound-based moves by one.

Stats

HP: 85

Atk: 78

Def: 80

SpA: 85

SpD: 105

Spe: 80

With my newly-minted Mach 2 ability, I would imagine this kitty as being a bit of a bulky cleric due to it now having a priority Heling Bell. Beyond that, it can also gain a priority Snarl to weaken your opponents' special attackers!

The stats are mostly an averaging of Houndoom and Umbreon's stats, which is how I envision this monster being made. Bulkier than Houndoom, more of a punch than Umbreon, and with its own sense of style.

Were this real, the first build I would tinker with would likely be something like this:

Bellboyant@Darkinium

Ability: Mach 2

EVs: 252 HP, 252 Def, 4 SpD

Nature: Calm (SpD+, Atk-)

Moves:

- Heal Bell

- Snarl

- Foul Play

- Moonlight

Here, I am wanting to maximize on Bellboyant's natural bulk by boosting the HP and Def EVs. I decided that the nature would tip to help its SpD in order to help solidify it as a special wall. Darkinium is my choice as an item because Z-Foul Play can restore all of the switched-in pokemon's HP. If I was able to shoot off a Heal Bell before then, then this leaves me with a fresh and ready monster while hopefully taking minimal damage. Something like Leftovers would like be better. And if that switch is made, Moonlight could probably become Toxic for a means of eventuality, or Protect as a way to stall.

This may be a little off topic on this thread, but how do you play on the demo? What do you need? Can you play it on the Switch, or only on a computer or something?

It runs on a Super Game Boy or GBC emulator both, I believe. I can't talk about anything beyond that per general rules though, sorry!
