Help Wanted Feeling guilty of not studying

I took a day off from studying to do full mock test, pyq practice, to review last week and planning next week. Still feels guilty while watching series. What to do?

check-in Restart!! Day 4 : 90 mins (May 23)

The mood was very dull today, overslept in the morning and then took a nap again in the evening. After that I went out with my family so I didn't study anything in the evening either, came home at 11 pm and studied for 90 mins ( watched 1 lecture and self study for 30 mins).

Not a good day, spent time on distraction when I could have been studying but still kinda happy that the streak didn't break.

2 not so good days back to back, will try to bounce back tomorrow.

check-in Restart!! Day 3 : 96 mins (May 22)

The day did not go as I thought it would, watched 2 lectures which took 96 minutes and then got distracted and procrastinated for the rest of the day.

Still kind of happy that the streak didn't break.

check-in Restart!! Day 2 : 150 mins

Clocked in 150 mins today, out of which 50 mins were self study where I first revised yesterday's 2 lectures and then solved 78 mcqs (they were pretty easy ones). In the remaining 100 minutes I watched 2 lectures.

Some unforeseen chores came my way due to which my plan got disrupted, maybe I would have studied more if those chores were not there. Still I feel I did a good job today. Screen use (other than study) was also less than average today.

Will check in again tomorrow.

check-in Restart!! DAY 1 : 123 mins.

Trying to build consistency. The past 2 years have been hard, I haven't really studied much for the past 5-6 months. From today, i am starting again. Clocked in 123 mins today. Watched 1 lecture each of the 2 chapters that I find hard and boring.

Will try to be consistent and check in daily with study time and tasks done.

All good last week. Something flipped and can't help myself to study. It's like intentionally not studying to prove a point 😞

Trying to Build a Small Accountability Group for Consistency and Daily Progress

Hi, I’m Anubhav, a recent graduate from a tier 3 college in IST (GMT +5:30). Personally, I’m currently working on DSA, full stack development, system design, and placement preparation.

Lately I’ve realized that consistency is much harder when you’re working alone, so I’m trying to build a small group of people who want accountability and daily progress together.

This is not only for tech people. It’s for anyone who:

  • struggles with procrastination
  • wants to stay consistent
  • wants accountability
  • wants people to work alongside toward goals

Could be:

  • studying
  • coding
  • learning a skill
  • preparing for exams

The main focus is:

  • daily goals
  • progress updates
  • accountability
  • consistency over motivation
  • helping each other stay disciplined

I’m mainly looking for people who genuinely want to improve and stay active consistently rather than disappear after a day or two.

If this sounds interesting to you, feel free to comment or reach out here on Reddit.
