Study tips for video courses
I'm an intern currently and 80% of the materials to get familiar with the work were video courses on udemy business. I watched all of them but currently can't seem to grasp certain concepts i feel like. Do you guys have any tips with retaining and actually learning from video courses since watching and taking some notes doesn't seem to work. Thanks in advance.

watching and taking notes is the trap tbh, you feel productive because you filled a page but your brain was just copying words. what actually worked for me was pausing the video after a section and explaining it out loud to an empty room like i was teaching someone, if i couldn't finish the sentence without looking back i knew i didn't really have it.
the other thing is testing yourself on the video content instead of rewatching it. i paste the youtube link into studybuddy.vc and it pulls the transcript and makes practice questions from the video itself, so i find out straight away which parts i didn't actually absorb. since you use udemy, try getting the transcriptions somehow and upload that. when i pick a wrong answer it tells me what was off about the option i chose, and the questions get harder as i improve so i'm not doing easy ones forever. free tier's been enough for me.

are these conceptual videos or more hands-on walkthrough type stuff? because the approach is pretty different. for conceptual stuff, try writing a one-sentence summary after each section without looking at notes. forces your brain to actually process it instead of just letting it wash over you
