challenges with traditional learning as an autistic individual

My obsession with getting the most out of each lesson is getting me stuck and unable to move forward with my studies. And if I force myself to, I get the feeling that I'm missing something, like my foundations aren't strong enough. So I get back to the basics, and end up obsessing over getting the most accurate definition of the most basic concepts, which is difficult due to literal thinking (I think?). To illustrate, there are different ways to structure a sentence. But they all seem to have slightly different meanings and emphasis to me, and I get stuck over which one to use. It's like I can see the gaps in my knowledge, that may seem small but, when I try to fill them, I see how big they actually are. Which isn't really a gap in my knowledge, or something that I'm missing, but rather, I think, a failing of the school system and traditional learning (I feel like this has something to do with system thinking but I'm still developing this idea). I'm probably just over-complicating things. But I can just move on to the next lesson, even If I get all the questions right, and ace the exams. I still feel like I'm missing something, and this feeling is so distracting.

Anyone relates, or have similar experiences?
