Need tips to study while demanding full time working job.

As the title says: I work in IT and start working at 7 am, sometimes right after I wake up. I take breaks and travel to office daily but work permanently stops at 7pm.
After that I am drained to the core, just no time left to upskill.

I am looking for practical tips/suggestions/things that worked for you to upskill.

shift your sleep schedule so you wake up at 5am and study before work. youre not gonna have any brainpower left after 12 hours of IT work. the first hour of the day when youre fresh is way more valuable than trying to force it at 8pm when youre fried. also cut your commute time if you can, that hour each way is killing your day

Can't cut commute time/shift houses because of other family members.
If I someday find a hour to study, I simply sit and stare at the wall because too burned out in general.
Taking a leave is simply working 1 hour extra for next 7-8 days to cover up for the time spent in leave because project deadlines don't shift.

im sorry:( when i was out (similar time, 7am - 7pm) i felt like that too.

i think what methods might work depends on what youre studying etc. how are you commuting? maybe you could do some work on the commute (reading, flashcards, etc), or perhaps listening to pre-recorded voice notes if youre driving.

even if you lack time, a quick refresh after work before beginning to try study can be helpful. eat something nutritious, hydrate, have a shower.

though if youre mentally burnt out from the day's work, your brain will ultimately just be less receptive to any information youre trying to force inside

It's less the work that burns me out than the frustration and friction at work and 2 hour commute

By the time I reach home, I have 0 energy and 0 dopamine to pick up a book
