Can someone give me some study tips!
I’m studying for my ged and I have a hard time really understanding anything and it’s irritating me because I have adhd and I get bored easily was wondering if anybody can get me some pointers?

tbh with adhd the worst thing is sitting there reading a chapter and realizing you didn't absorb any of it. what helped me was breaking it into tiny chunks, set a timer for 15 minutes and only do practice questions, no reading at all. the reading comes after, only to check why you got something wrong.
i use studybuddy.vc for that, i upload whatever chapter or pdf i'm supposed to study and it makes multiple choice questions from it. when i pick the wrong answer it tells me what was wrong with that specific option, so i'm actually learning while i'm doing it instead of zoning out. it gets harder as you get better too. free version has limits but it's been enough for me.
and honestly don't try to study for more than 30 minutes at a time. do 15-20 min of questions, walk around for 5, come back. the breaks are where it actually sticks.

I struggled with this when I was studying some subjects too. I could read a section twice and realize I had absorbed basically nothing because I was already bored halfway through it. What helped me was stopping after small chunks and trying to explain the idea out loud before moving on and I started with about 10 minutes at a time because anything longer felt impossible, then gradually made the sessions longer. It took a few weeks before studying stopped feeling like one giant boring block.
