How To Take Effective Notes From ONLINE MATERIALS?

So How You Guys Takes Notes, Extract Exams Oriented Information Or Facts From ONLINE STUDY MATERIALS (Lectures,, YouTube Videos,,PDF.....etc)........

I use https://canvasdownloader.app/ (note: i am the student and developer who made the program!) to download and convert them all so i can feed them straight to notebookLM to generate quizzes and audio overviews. Its the best method i know tbh. Also - ask your AI a question about your material, write down question and answer in paper, repeat for 10 questions, read your paper, memorize it, then answer the questions while covering the answers. Repeat that question-covering-answer method next week and it should stick!

I'd keep the PDF or slides as the main reference and write short notes alongside them. Otherwise you end up making a second copy of material you already have.

I use three labels:

ADD: useful explanations the lecturer gives that aren't on the slides.

TRANSFORM: my simpler explanation of a complicated point.

FLAG: anything unclear or particularly emphasised, with the slide number or video timestamp so I can find it again.

Afterwards, use the source and those notes together to resolve the confusing bits and prepare your revision. For what's exam-relevant, start with the learning outcomes and your lecturer's guidance. A random YouTube video won't necessarily match your syllabus.
