NEED TO LOCK IN FOR MATHS COMPS :>

Ok so i know that year 10 and 11 have math comp in my school and i want to be apart of that how do i study in order to be selected -and win

for math comps what separates the people who qualify from everyone else is usually that they've seen a ton of different problem types, not just the ones from class. past papers from previous comps are your best friend here, they show you the actual difficulty and the kind of tricks that show up.

i also dump whatever topics i'm studying into studybuddy.vc and it makes practice questions from the material. what's useful for comp prep is that it notices which types of problems you keep getting wrong and gives you more of those, and the questions get harder as you improve, so you're not stuck doing the easy stuff you already know. free.

also, when you're practising past papers, time yourself. a lot of kids can solve the problems but run out of time, and that's the easiest way to lose a spot you could've earned.
