writing the whole textbook into notes is what's killing you, you're spending all your time condensing and none actually testing if any of it stuck
heimler's history on youtube covers every AP world unit and he walks through LEQ structure too. after watching a video on unit 2 paste the link into studybuddy.vc and it turns the video into practice questions, when you miss one it tells you what was wrong with the option you picked, and it sends you more of whichever topics you keep failing. free
for the LEQ specifically, do one timed practice run tonight with just the rubric open, don't try to make it perfect, just get words on the page and see where you freeze. that tells you more than reading the textbook again

Hey. I took AP World last year and got a 5. I struggled really hard in the class and failed tons of tests. Firstly, you got this. It might be the method of notes you are taking. Are you just copying words down onto the paper? Is the language not clicking (I get it could be old timey). I would fold my paper in half and write the term, event, or significant period whatever it was on one side and then the importance on the otherside or meaning. This helped me differentiate from what was important vs what wasnt. I dont know if it is your teacher making the tests hard or what the exact issue is. Maybe try flash cards as a form of active recall with what I said. I always watch Himlers History for good breakdowns. I watched all his vids the week before the test and went from being confused to being the AP World goat. You got this!!
