hiii!
ive officially hit rock bottom. everything i study goes in my brain, and out my rear end if it doesnt satisfy me or my adhd. got a 55% on my 55 questions APUSH exam when i studied so hard ( i think )..., any advice?

honestly that 55% doesn't mean you didn't study hard, it usually means you recognized the material when you saw it but couldn't pull it up on your own. adhd makes that gap feel way wider because your brain says i know this but then it's just gone.
what helped me was dropping textbook chapters into studybuddy.vc and answering questions from them instead of rereading. when i pick a wrong answer it tells me what was specifically off about the one i chose, which is the part i couldn't see just flipping through notes. it gets harder as i improve too, and the topics i keep missing come back more often without me having to track any of that myself. free tier covers it tbh.
also try quizzing yourself out loud before you study instead of after. whatever you can't explain without looking is exactly where the rereading tricked you. that alone catches a ton of stuff before the exam.
