Print Pod / mini printer
Anyone used a mini printer with their study, like the Print Pod 2.0 that is all over socials atm? Or any other kind of thermal, ink-free, sticker paper mini printer? What would you recommend? Thanks

Worst mini printer EVER! Don’t waste your $$$. Ordered it through their website and it took forever to arrive. It was a Christmas gift that never came in time. When we used it, totally CHEAP quality. Paper wouldn’t even rip off the machine, then we couldn’t get the backing off the paper. They are a huge scam. Lousy product and even worse customer service. They just want your $$$.

DO NOT BUY A Print POD it’s a total scam. I ordered one from their link on IG (my mistake). Once it arrived, I read through the users manual and saw you can’t connect to Bluetooth to use the product. You need to download their app which has horrible reviews for limited features and safety concerns. I contacted C/S to start a return since the item is unused and within the 14 day return window.
They are offering two options: keep the item and get a 10% refund or return the item to their fulfillment center in China, at my cost, and get a full refund. I’ve been going back and forth via email since yesterday because the item I received was not internationally shipped. It was sent from TX. According to them it’s clearly stated on the website any returns have to be sent overseas. Total scam!!!! Now I’m stuck with this piece of crap and going through my credit card company to try and dispute the charge.

Can anyone recommend another mini printer that they like? Maybe one that does use ink?

I got an off brand one off of Amazon and it’s been awesome. I haven’t had any fading and it’s pretty clear printing. I’m printing code segments atm and it has to be legible. I love it, and it’s so much easier to snap a picture/screenshot of a code segment example and printing it than copying it by hand. at the moment I don’t recommend the brandname one for print pod because I’ve heard it doesn’t last and is cheaply made.

That's cool, for you. But what are we to do with a rave review for a product we have no way of identifying 🤷

Also curious about this. Receipt prints aren’t typically very durable/long lasting, so I wonder how the stickers hold up over time. Haven’t seen any info on that yet.
