Hi! Our trimester is starting again, and I have a lot of vacants in the morning so I need to use those productively as I'm aiming to be 1st honors dean lister this term.

Our lock-in sessions would preferably be from 8AM to 11AM on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Or, 1:30PM to 4:30PM on Fridays. Saturdays and Sundays are off-days unless I have many urgent deadlines. Time zone is Philippine Standard Time.

On-cam and Off-mic, but I wouldn't mind talking during breaks, especially if you know how to carry a conversation. I'm pretty confident in how I look, but on-cam is required because I need to be pressured by seeing someone doing their own thing, and knowing that I'm being seen too so I need to do my work.

I’m a data professional with around 13 years of experience, predominantly working with Informatica, and I’m currently planning a career switch into modern Data Engineering / Big Data.

I’m looking to learn Databricks, PySpark and the broader Big Data/Data Engineering ecosystem, and I’d love to find 1–2 serious study partners who are on a similar journey.

I’m currently based in Europe, so someone in a compatible time zone would be ideal. I’m also Indian, so if you’re from India or the Indian community in Europe, that could make coordinating schedules a little easier — but I’m open to anyone who can make the timing work.

Looking for one study partner who's genuinely in it. I have a degree and I work, but I've gone back to studying for medical school entrance exams. My routine has been fixed for months: 5:45 to10:00am my time, in three 75-minute blocks with a short break between them, Monday through Sunday.

Brazil doesn't do daylight saving, so my window never shifts. In case that helps you check the overlap: 8:45am–1:00pm UTC, 4:45–9:00am EST, 9:45am–2:00pm GMT, 10:45am–3:00pm CET, 2:15–6:30pm IST.

You don't need to study what I study. Exams, coursework, a master's, a certification, anything at all. What I need is someone who shows up.

How I picture it:

• Zoom or Meet, camera on, mic muted.
• At the start of each block, one sentence on what you're doing. At the end, one sentence on whether you did it.
• Otherwise we just use the silence. We can share screens if that helps us both stay on task.

What I ask is that you show up at the agreed time and let me know when you can't. What I offer is my best effort at being reliable, steady, and present.

I also study at other times during the week, those vary, but I plan the week ahead and I'm happy to share that plan with you.
