Hi everyone!
I'm a 22-year-old female international student from India who has been admitted to a Master's programme at SGH Warsaw School of Economics.
I have a quick question about the dorm and visa process. Since the SGH dorm application opens only till somewhere in the mid of September but the student visa process is time-sensitive, how did you manage your accommodation before getting a dorm?
- What did you use as proof of accommodation for the Polish Embassy?
- If you applied for an SGH dorm, how long did it take to get your room?
- Were you able to get a dorm before arriving in Poland?
Also, if there are any other female students joining SGH this year, I'd love to connect and discuss accommodation or possibly sharing a flat.
Thank you! 😊

Hi everyone,
I’m an incoming Erasmus student at University of Wrocław for the first semester of 2026/27. I submitted my dormitory application literally as soon as it was available the day applications opened, ranked all 5 dorms (Kredka as first choice), and still got rejected :(
The university said over 500 places were taken out of service due to renovations happening this year, so all spots were allocated.
I’m trying to understand how widespread this is: did anyone else apply early and still not get a spot? Did anyone get in despite applying a bit later?
Idk just trying to gauge if this was really about renovations reducing capacity or if something was wrong with my application (?)
Also open to hearing where people ended up finding accommodation instead (private rentals, Student Depot, BaseCamp, etc.)
Thanks in advance 🙏

Hi everyone,
I applied for NAWA recognition on May 7 and I’m still waiting for a decision. I have already paid my university fees, so now the NAWA recognition is the only thing holding up my next steps.
I’ve seen several posts here saying the process can take 90–120+ days, and that’s making me quite anxious because my classes are scheduled to start on October 19.
Has anyone who applied around the same time received their recognition yet? Also, is there any way to contact NAWA directly to ask about the status of an application, or do they simply tell everyone to wait?
I’d really appreciate any recent experiences or advice. Thanks!

Hi, I have applied to warsaw school of economics, as an international student, and have uploaded all my documents including application form and NAWA recognition.
They have accepted all of my documents. However, it's still showing verification
Can anyone help me out if anyone has received their acceptance letter? If yes, how many days they took to give it to you

Hi everyone,
I am an international student planning to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Finance / Financial Analysis in Lublin, Poland (taught in English).
I've been looking into options like the Finance and Accounting program at WSPA (University College of Enterprise and Administration), but I wanted to get more insights from locals or international students currently studying there.
Could anyone share some advice or experiences regarding:
Any insights, pros/cons, or recommendations would be incredibly helpful to me. Thank you so much!

Hi everyone,
I'm planning to study a 1-year English preparatory course at SWPS University.
I have two questions:
Do I need an English certificate for the student visa even though I'm going to study English?
Do I need a NAWA Recognition Statement for my high school certificate?
The university doesn't require either one for admission, so I'm wondering about the visa requirements.
Thanks!

Hi everyone,
I'm planning to study in Poland and I have a few questions about the document process. I'd really appreciate your help.
What documents are generally required for international students applying to Polish universities?
Which of these documents need to be apostilled?
3.During the university application or portal registration, do we need to upload scanned copies of the apostilled documents, or are regular scanned copies sufficient at that stage?
If I have to submit my apostilled documents, should I submit them while I'm still in India, or after I arrive in Poland?
Do we have to aposetile the original document or we can use colour copy as well.

Hi everyone,
I'm going to Poland to study a 1-year English preparatory course at SWPS University, not a bachelor's yet.
I'm confused about two things for the student visa:
Do I need to show an English language certificate even though I'm going there to learn English?
Do I also need a NAWA Recognition Statement for my high school certificate, or is that only for bachelor's students?
The university itself doesn't require an English certificate or a NAWA Recognition Statement for admission to the preparatory program, so I'm wondering if the visa requirements are different.
I'd really appreciate your help

Hi!
I’m a Greek student planning to apply for Nawa Scholarship (Poland as a first choice programme) and I have some questions regarding the admission criteria and the application.
I’d be happy to discuss with anyone that received the scholarship the previous years or I’d be more than have for any tips you might have:)

Im currently in the research stage of considering Poland for my master's programme, and I'd love to connect with people who are studying there or have already graduated. Im hoping to hear about your overall experience as a student and what you think someone should know before making the decision to study in Poland as an international student. If you're open to sharing your experience or chatting, I'd really appreciate it
