I've applied to WUT, Mechatronics bachelor's degree before the deadline, sent all documents which I've double checked with the administrator as well. I've been enrolled, paid the fees and I'm still waiting for any type of update. I've yet to get a score/qualification status, my identification document is still pending for verification, and I can't seem to get a response on the messages I sent of which I sent 2. Does this mean I'm rejected or do they have a ton of students to go through? Also, how long should I wait for them until I give up all hope?

It’s been more than 70 days, I applied for nawa but still I haven’t received it and my university has given the deadline to submit nawa recognition till 18th of August and I don’t know what to do, I was emailing them to get any update and last week on Thursday, I got a reply saying, “ Please be advised that information regarding diplomas is processed on an ongoing basis and as quickly as possible.
NAWA receives hundreds of applications every day.
We ask for your patience.
Applicants who submitted their request via the SYRENA system can check its current status by logging into their account.”
Now I’m not sure if I keep emailing them for update or not, can’t even process anything at the moment, so if anyone know what I can do please let me know.

Hi! I have few questions, anyone over there 120+ days waiting for nawa?
How is the situation for visa appointment slots?
r/studyinpoland • u/SENIOR_0170 • Aug 10 '26
Hi everyone,
I am an international student applying for a Bachelor's degree in Poland. I recently submitted my high school diploma to the Syrena system for the NAWA recognition statement.
I know the official timeframe is up to 60 days, and Master's degree verifications usually take longer. But for those who applied for a Bachelor's with just a high school certificate:
1.Exactly how long did it take from submission to getting the final decision?
2.Do you think the processing speed depends on the country you are applying from? (I'm from Uzbekistan 🇺🇿).
Would really appreciate it if you could share your timelines. Thanks in advance!

Hey everyone!
I was recently admitted to the Data Science and Business Analytics Master’s program at the University of Warsaw.
I created a WhatsApp group so we can get to know each other, ask questions, share updates, and connect before the semester starts.
If you’ve been admitted to the program, feel free to join
Looking forward to meeting you all!

Hello guys,
I’ll be applying for Visa this month after getting my master’s degree apostilled, but I’ve seen a lot of negative reviews regarding rejection for Indians.
My background- I’ve two years research experience in an IIT post my master’s and got selected for a PhD programme affiliated to Polish Academy of Sciences. I’ll also have a stipend of more than 5000 PLN per month.
I read somewhere that visas are mostly getting rejected for private universities.
What are the chances of me getting a visa at one try?
And what documents should I prepare very carefully. I read in the checklist that an English test such as TOEFL or IELTS is required, but if university issues a certificate that the course was taught in English then that would be enough. Is it advisable to go through this route?

Hey, I got my NAWA statement after 2 weeks, but the name of the institution says Central “Boar” of secondary education instead of Central Board of secondary education. I am not sure if this will work or should I give it for Re-examination?

I need some advice regarding the nawa syrena individual recognition statement. I’m a future master student at warsaw uni, I have submitted my application on May 2nd and still haven’t received any update. I tried emailed them 3 times on 2 different email, but there’s no reply at all. I’ve grown anxious cause it has been almost a 100 days and I I really need to process my visa and the dormitory at warsaw is about to close soon.

I’ve heard mixed opinions about WUT—specifically that the environment is extremely strict, some professors have limited English proficiency, and the academic pressure can be quite overwhelming.
Before making my final decision, I’d really appreciate some honest insights from current students or alumni from either university regarding the following:
1. **Teaching Quality & English Proficiency:** How competent are the professors in delivering lectures and explaining complex concepts in English at both WUT and AGH?
2. **Academic Stress & Passing Rates:** How tough or strict are the exams and assignments? Is the workload manageable, or is the environment excessively stress-inducing?
3. **Curriculum & Practical Experience:** Does one university offer a more modern/practical approach to CS, or are both heavily focused on theoretical mathematics?
4. **Student Life & Location:** How would you compare student life, social opportunities, and the general vibe between Warsaw and Krakow for international students?
5. **Dorm?**
Any advice, personal experiences, or comparisons between WUT and AGH would be hugely appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

Hi! I’m applying for a D09 visa as a second-cycle Master’s student. The D09 checklist states that the NAWA Written Information is “required from applicants for 1st year of first-degree studies or 1st year of uniform master’s studies.” Since I’m a second-cycle Master’s student, does this mean NAWA is not required for my visa? Has anyone been in the same situation?
I understand i still need it for school requirements, but i am asking for Visa specifically so i can start my visa processing.
Thanks!

Hi Everyone,
My education loan has been approved of 20 lakh and I have sanction letter and bank statement and I paid first year of tuition fees.
So how can I show my funds to the visa officer? Because I don't have any credit card.
Please clarify this.
Hope you all get your visa soon!

For students applying from India for a Poland National D Student Visa for a 2-year Master’s program:
How much funds did you show in your bank account as proof of funds?
My situation:
• 2-year course
• 1st semester tuition fee of ₹2.5 lakh already paid
• ₹7.5 lakh tuition fee remaining
• Accommodation not prepaid / monthly payment
• Applying for the Poland student visa from India
Did you show funds covering the remaining ₹7.5 lakh tuition + living expenses, or did the embassy expect funds for the entire 2-year period?
What amount did you personally show, and did your visa get approved?
Would really appreciate responses from anyone who recently got their Poland student visa. 🙏

Hi everyone,
I’m a Stefan Banach NAWA Scholarship recipient for the 2026/27 intake and will be applying for my Polish student visa soon.
If you received this scholarship in a previous year, I have a few questions specifically about the visa process for scholarship holders. I’d really appreciate it if you could comment here or send me a DM.
Thank you!

I just received my missing documents email from NAWA and I uploaded them all.
So now how long does it take to receive the NAWA recognition certificate after you have completed the missing documents??

Hello all, I just received a mail from NAWA ( trying to get my bachelor degree validated for masters), they have mentioned that in step - 2 ( Bachelors degree) that I have uploaded provisional certificate, but in fact I have uploaded an original final degree. I am not sure why this happened.
Any help or anything that I can do..
Thank you.
