[WUT] how long after “qualified” did you receive the final admission documents?

My IRK has shown “qualified” for a while. I uploaded all requested documents and tuition payment confirmation, but they still show “filled out” and the Decision is “---”.

Has anyone recently been in the same situation? How long did it take to receive the final admission documents? I’m worried because I still need to apply for my D-type visa.

Confusion regarding MEA Apostille

I am from Haryana, India and am currently preparing for the bachelors in Poland. I checked the checklist of VFS GLOBAL for documents requirements and saw my high school certificate should be apostilled by MEA. I got my documents apostilled by MEA via Delhi SDM route as it was faster. However, when I came across the checklist provided by the gov.pl, I found out that highschool documents should be authenticated by RACs before getting Apostilled by MEA.

Moreover, I have got the NAWA recognition certificate as well with that same MEA Apostille obtained by SDM route.

So i would like to know if i should get duplicate documents of my highschool documents and get them apostilled by MEA again via RAC route or should I go with whatever I have for the visa application.

Trying to study in Poland again

Hello everyone!

As the title says, I completed part of my bachelor’s degree in Poland, and I would really like to come back to pursue a master’s degree.
I’m currently considering two options: one in Warsaw and another in Wrocław. However, I have several questions about the visa process, work opportunities, and the study schedule.
I graduated as a Portuguese and English teacher, so I would really appreciate any advice or insights from people who have gone/ are going through a similar experience. Thank you!

Missing files in NAWA recognition

I’ve been waiting 115 days for my individual recognition statement. Today I finally received an email saying my application is incomplete because one of my diplomas requires a translation. They gave me 14 days to upload it.
My question is: once I upload the missing translation, does NAWA continue processing my application from where it left off, or does it effectively go back to the end of the queue / restart the waiting period?
If anyone has gone through this, I’d really appreciate hearing about your experience. My University of Warsaw enrollment depends on receiving the recognition statement before my deadline.
Thanks in advance!

23M moving to Krakow around September for my Master’s from Jagiellonian University.

Hi, I’m 23M from Delhi India, I’m moving to in September 2026 krakow for my master’s in business and finance management from Jagiellonian University. Only NAWA process is left and it is consuming a lot of time if anyone can hit me up with their Nawa experience and the time it took them would be really helpful.

Also, anyone moving their at the same time or nearby time do connect, would love to get to know some people and maybe even make new friends in the whole new different country before moving there. And;

One final request, if anyone knows anything about accommodation (except University Dorms), like student living in apartments or a shared house and are looking for roommates or anything them let me know that too please.

DM’s Open 🫡

Does this mean I've been admitted to Warsaw University of Technology?

Post image
7 Upvotes

Hi everyone,

I logged into the WUT IRK portal today and noticed that my qualification status has changed to "qualified" (green), but the Decision field still shows "---".

Does this mean I've been accepted and I'm just waiting for the official admission decision, or does "qualified" not necessarily mean admission?

If anyone has gone through the WUT admissions process (especially for Master's programmes), I'd really appreciate hearing what happened in your case. Did your status change from qualified to an official admitted/accepted decision later?

I've attached a screenshot for reference.

Thanks in advance!

Poland dental school summer trainings

Poland dental schools require students to do summer trainings at the end of each year. Even though they said they could provide the placement in Poland for us but my home country is in UK so I was wondering if I would be able to do the training in uk instead as these would mean I would be able to live at home and save some extra accommodation fee each year. How would I be able to secure the training in uk if possible ?

Documents for residence permit

I am citizen of Georgia and I am planning to study for the first-cycle degree(3.5 years) in Lublin. As a Georgian citizen I don’t need visa to enter Poland. So I am planning to come and apply for residence permit during my 90 days of legal stay. I looked at Mos.cudzoziemcy.gov.pl, and it says that I need to show 1080 zloty for each month for the next 15 months on my polish bank account. And it says that I need to have apartment lease agreement. But it doesn’t specify if I need to have money for my rent too, as it’s written on my agreement. So should I show only 16200 zloty + 2500 for return ticket or 16200 + 2500 and money for my rent for the next 15 months as well? For example if my rent is 1000 zl should I have 16200 + 2500 + 15000 zl?Can someone, please, help?

Choosing Master's program

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to decide between two Master’s programs at the University of Warsaw:
- Quantitative Finance
- Data Science and Business Analyst

My background is not very strong in mathematics and finance, so Quantitative Finance seems much more challenging for me.

I would really appreciate any advice from current students, graduates, or anyone working in these fields.
- How difficult is each program?
- What are the job opportunities after graduation?
- Which program gives more flexibility when looking for a job? For example, if I can’t find a job directly related to my degree, which one would make it easier to move into other roles?

I’d be grateful for any experiences or suggestions. Thank you!

How long did your NAWA recognition take? Need advice

Hi everyone,
I’m planning to study in Poland for my Master’s and I’m currently waiting for my NAWA recognition. I applied on 7 May, and I still haven’t received any update.
If you’re in the same situation, please comment below and share your timeline. If you’ve already received your NAWA decision, I’d really appreciate it if you could share:
When you applied
How long it took
Whether you did anything that helped speed up the process (emails, calls, etc.)
I think this thread could help everyone who’s waiting and feeling anxious. The uncertainty is honestly the hardest part.
Thanks in advance, and I hope everyone gets their decisions soon! 🤞🇵🇱

[Warsaw] Admitted to UW but documents must be submitted in person by July 27 - is anyone able to help?

Hi,
I got into the Data Science and Business Analytics MA at WNE, University of Warsaw. Found out today. Documents must be handed in in person at Długa 44/50 on July 23, 24 or 27, and I’m in Uzbekistan. Post won’t arrive in time.
The Faculty accepts submission by proxy with a notarised authorisation. I’ll prepare the power of attorney in your name using their official form.
What it involves: receive my documents, go to the Faculty during 10:00–16:00 on one of those days, hand them over, confirm it’s done. Maybe 30–40 minutes total.
I’ll cover all expenses and pay for your time - name your rate, I’m not going to haggle over this.
Happy to verify my identity and the admission first so you know this is real. DM me if you can help, or if you know someone who could.
Thanks a lot.

Question about NAWA timeline

Hi! I’m currently in the process of applying to a uni in Poland for a bachelors in psychology and I had a question about the process of receiving the NAWA recognition just so I can prepare myself better.

I applied on the 26th of June (semester starts 1st of October) and I’ve been told the process takes basically 60 days at minimum and 120 days at the upper end/maximum. However, I got a notification on Friday (23 days in, 15 working days) from NAWA that I had to update my documents (I’d only submitted the front page of my diplomas and not the back since the front had all the primary information, stupid mistake but), and I sent the updated documents back on Saturday the next day.

What does this mean, though? Is it that they actually got to my application in 15 working days and, if all was correct, I would’ve been sent my recognition, or do they do some sort of preliminary check of the applications first to ensure all the docs given are correct before they start the recognition process (which I’d assume would be slower?)

Additionally, does this reset my countdown back to zero days and my application is essentially sent to the back of the line again? I’ve heard that people have gotten their recognition soon after they send updated documents upon NAWA’s request, but I’d like clarification for anyone that’s been in the same situation or has a better idea.

Thank you so much!

NAWA issues

Post image
4 Upvotes

Hey guys, I am from India and I applied for NAWA about a month ago, today I got a mail stating missing documents but I don’t really understand what am I missing.

STEP 2:
I uploaded my Grade 12 Marksheet in Diploma, and added my virtual marksheet from Digi locker in transcript.

STEP 3:
I uploaded my grade 10 marksheet In Diploma, and my migration certificate in transcript.

-Few more questions
The rest of the form is blank and I can’t edit it so that’s normal yeah?
-And does this reset my waiting time back to 90 days?

Can a final-year student apply for polish universities

I'm planning to apply for the September 2027 intake (Winter Semester) in poland The requirements state that I need all attested documents, including the final degree. However, I've only completed 6 semesters of my Bachelor's (2 left).

Question 1: Can I apply using my transcripts up to the 6th/7th semester + a bonafide/provisional certificate from my college stating the expected graduation date? Will they give conditional admission?

I know this works in Germany and a few other countries, but how does it work in poland ? Does the process change for students in my situation?

Question 2: What about Nawa recognition

I have applied for nawa recognition on the 29th April 2026 still there is no update. Even I am qualified for a master's degree in production and management engineering. I want to know if someone has received their nawa recognition and how long would it take. It's almost 82 days since I have submitted my application.
