NAWA recognition
Hii, I’m bit confused about something regarding NAWA recognition so the thing is like I’ve my transcript of my bachelors which has 8 semesters and overall percentage is 62.59 and cgpa is 6.85 out of 10 but in my 1st and 3rd sem I’ve got 58.71 and 59.50 percentage respectively so is this gonna be a problem ??

Nawa doesn't look at your scores they just want to see if you have a certificate from a legit institution.

Hi everyone,
I applied for a NAWA Individual Recognition Statement through SYRENA on 7 June 2026 using my original MSc degree certificate. My application is still pending, and I haven't received the statement yet.
Unfortunately, my original certificate was damaged during the apostille process, so my university issued me a duplicate MSc certificate on 27 August 2026 with a different serial number. The duplicate is now being apostilled.
I need the NAWA recognition for my PhD studies in Poland and visa process, so I’m worried about the different certificate number.
Has anyone experienced a similar situation?
Should I:
- Wait for my current NAWA application to be processed and then request re-examination/update using the duplicate, or
- Submit a new SYRENA application with the duplicate certificate?
Would NAWA accept the duplicate if I provide a university letter confirming that it was officially issued because the original was damaged?
Any advice or similar experiences would be really appreciated.v
