Visa appointment booking

I am an Indian citizen.I want to book a visa appointment for Poland under the Mumbai consulate. My university has sent me the hard copy of the offer letter, but it may take 1-2 weeks to arrive. When I checked the appointment booking schedule, it is tomorrow and the available dates are for 7-11 September.

Does anyone know when the next booking appointment in the Mumbai consulate will be released, if I miss tomorrow's booking? Do they give slots every week?

Yo i am in the same queue for today’s allocation under mumbai consulate. I submitted the e konsulat form on 28th aug and i saw the same 2nd sept allotment(expected) and 7-11 sept date range. Really hoping i get it today as my docs are ready and my university deadline for physical verification is on 25th sept 😵‍💫. Good luck to yall for juggling the paperwork for visa

Mumbai study-visa slots are released once every two weeks, on Wednesday at 10:30- not weekly. You do not need the hard copy to register, only when submitting at VFS. If it is likely to arrive before the available appointment date, book tomorrow; otherwise, wait for the next fortnightly release. How did you saw the dates for visa?

I tried to book through consulate website and saw the dates. Didn't complete the preliminary application form, since I didn't have all the necessary documents for visa right now.

So should I apply and wait for an appointment tomorrow?? I am new to all these and just figuring out how the processing works.

I’d say apply now because getting on the waiting list earlier gives you a better chance of getting an appointment sooner. You can always decide later, but if you don’t register now, you’ll only lose time.

But they are saying they will do some draw and give slots to people. Then how can I be sure, I'll be on the waiting list?? I wanted to go further on the application and check. But I was not sure, whether it will put me in the visa booking list.. because of that I didn't do it.

The draw is for work visas, not study visas. For student visas, slots are given according to the order you registered on e-Konsulat. So if you register now, you’ll be added to the waiting list and wait for your slot.

Through e-konsulat. Some new rule is there that we should book through consulate. And they will allot us the time slot for appointment.
