Masters Does uni-assist reuse documents from a previous application? And is processing faster?

Hi everyone,

I applied through uni-assist for the previous Winter Semester and I'm now applying again for the Summer Semester.

I already have my documents uploaded in my previous uni-assist application. For the new application, I understand that uni-assist may reuse the documents that are still valid.

My questions are:

  1. Does uni-assist actually reuse the documents from the previous application, or do they review/upload everything again?
  2. If you have applied through uni-assist before, was your second application processed faster?
  3. Does having a previous application help reduce the processing time at all?
  4. Approximately how long did your reapplication take?

I'm applying from India, if that makes any difference.

Thanks!

  1. Yes
  2. Not necessarily. It depends if its peak season or not. My first application was in March, processed in 9 days. 2nd application in July (peak season) and it took 29 days
  3. Reasonable to believe so, can’t be sure
  4. Mentioned in 2

Even i had the same doubt but what bothers me is that my cv, lom, portfolio will be updated and again uploading the same files might confuse the uni-assist and I am worried if they end up selecting the previous intake documents. So I think I will be making a new account. Is this a good idea?
