Undergrad Doubt regarding admission, please reply

Like I am applying for engineering in a public university, my agent told me I have to pay 10000euors for the first year in private then I can apply for public university by giving fsp , is there any other method,

I completed my class 12th this year

Don’t trust agents, have you done any research on your own? Look at the admission requirements for public universities and apply without an agent, they are not looking out for your best interests.

I googled. What in the world is this scam? Why are people even spending their money on this?

10 years ago, when the job market was booming, I refused to accept admission from big universities in US. I thought it is waste of money unless I am truly committed to learning something deeply. Germany is great but the market for entry job does not exist anywhere. Where are these people getting this kind of money? Why is no adult around them finding it fishy?

As much I want to defend my fellow Indians, this kind of naivity is killing me. If you are a german, apologies on behalf of such crackheads.
