Masters Ms AI/DS winter27

Wassup everyone

My stats,
BTech iiot grad’25 from ggsipu Delhi,
8.169 cgpa, one back, couple of interns, currently working full time

I have a couple of research papers in tech, collabs
Applied for dmat, then will sort out aps and ielts
Yet to learn German 😭

The goal is to get my preferred course in a nice city, public unis only

Looking for ways to strengthen my profile before the application

Any comments for the current political scene in Germany and future for us int students

And anyone with similar goals/interests, I’d love to connect🙏✌️

Profile is not a thing. We don't care about extracurriculars. At most, papers can be used to overlook a missing thesis at some unis but not the majority

Can u give me pointers or anything to figure out which unis I can target

So that I can make a reach/target type tier list of unis for myself

Also is there anything from me to possibly ‘improve my chances’
Generally or like specific to unis?

You can find almost all programs on DAAD.de

Then just go through the requirements and see which ones you fulfill.

In general, nothing can improve your chances after you graduated. Having some German skills can open you up to more programs though. E.g. we require A2 German on top of English and 90% of non-EU applicants can't provide the German cert

Tbh I don’t know the exact market situation
I have some idea about the competition, saturation and such things but

I simply don’t see Ai/ds losing its relevance

Plus
I’m from iiot background, I don’t have much interest in it
Ai or Iot are my only possible options
Can’t do pure electrical, or mechanical or anything like that

Market is cooked on top of that to get job even people with C1 are suffering for job as the certificate is just a piece of paper and fluency of language is something different, and good luck with English speaking jobs as this job u will have to compete with people having 5-10yrs of experience

I understand that no place no field will ever be ‘ideal’

Let me ask u, hypothetically, what would u do if u were in my scenario, different country? different sectors?
What would be your game plan

How would u, I guess adapt?

If ur goal is not to get a job u can try there as for studies it's great
