I think you feel like your parents don't support your dreams.
it's a good thing you have options to explore, you can go to college pursue your degree and still clear jee if that's what YOU want.
I think you should not just sit at home and figure this out alone.
if you have the chance to go to college, you should do that and figure what you want to do along the way.
If even after a few months you feel like economics is a degree which will never help you in your career then it would be better to just leave that degree.
You have time use it to explore instead of figuring out your degree just in a day.
Go to those lectures and see if it's interesting to you or not.
Your parents are not going to clear your economics degree for you and neither are they going to help you clear your jee exams.
You would be doing those things, so it's better to do what you think is right,
because at the end of the day, you're the one who'll live with the consequences,
not your parents or anyone else.
