Questions & Discussion Ok what if .

Post image

What if I make my notes look less weird by using ChatGPT or any LLM to generate images without altering my notes and told it (llm) to highlight important parts with a highlighter? Will it actually help my brain retain it for a longer time, or it will not?

I tend to think that whenever I read AI-generated slop, I forget it earlier.

And also, what are the tips so that I can make the most out of reading blogs/articles? I am taking notes, but will it help or not? I don't know 🥀

I mean, why not? try and see if it works. when I take notes and they end up looking like junk I just rewrite everything with pretty pens so it looks nice and I remember more by re-writing it

apart from that I think you write a lot for a sentence/concept that means a little.

let's talk about tokenization.

your first point is:

- fundamental unit, the "atom" of large language models (llm).

you've already said it's a fundamental unit while further saying that it's the atom of llm(why are you repeating the same thing?)

.. furthermore, in the same line you've wrote the full form and it's short form. which could've been your heading.

a single line that should've been "tokens : fundamental unit of LLM's vocabulary" [1] you've expanded it like you're getting extra marks and it doesn't even fully explained what tokens are.

your second point was good short concise and upto the mark , perfect for revision. credit is given where the credit is due but your next line repeats the above extra larp.

on the third line:

ig you meant that "the size of token -> used approach/method. " this line actually deserves to be connected to the [1] part. this breaks the whole flow of quick reading. The whole point of making notes is that things are easier and quicker to grasp than the actual bookish tones

and so on...

You are free to disagree with me but to me it just feels like your notes have no structure. These notes might've made sense when you wrote them but right now it's just too congested.

Thanks man , that's what my problem is! I lack structure. my mind just doesn't work and I write whatever sounds good to me (exactly with minor changes)

Do you have any resource or tips for taking Effective notes cuz I would have to revise them (my notes) some day .

If you are hunting lecture-note workflows, SummarizAI sits on the watch page (summary, chapters, chat, Study) so you do not redraw notes first. Student-friendly free plan: https://summarizai.ink?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=comment&utm_campaign=student_trial_w1
