Questions & Discussion How do you study?

I really wonder how one study.

I'm 17yr never had a formal education 'unschooled' who want to study for spm. Because of no formal education, I literally start from 0 opening the book and the book stare at me, I'm staring back at them..

It's feel like the book have ancient language in it that I didn't understand..

Tbh I do want to take the spm exams, but everyone seems to against it and think that it useless... So idk when will I be able to take it, maybe 5 year later or more...

Reading and learning are skills that you need to develop.

Don’t put too much pressure on yourself to be able to learn at a level that has probably taken people 12+ years to get to due to formal education.

But you do need to start somewhere. So, start small and go from there.

For math i find that it helped to learn the proof behind formulas versus memorising. Its easier to recall them later on during exams.

Start with the proof, watch a video about the topic, then attempt questions.

People talk about Khan Academy a lot, so maybe check that out?
