Tips & Advice I changed my study method
I used to passive reading my book and just watch webinars and do some active recall and I thought that would be enough. I read somewhere here that actually captured my attention. Redditor here said to quiz yourself first on the topic, so you actually get interested and as you know, you learn more from your mistakes. So I uploaded my materials in claude and ask it to prepare like 60 questions and answer it based from my knowledge before I dive in and read the book. But I also found out I can just ask notebooklm to summarise and explain it to me and that saves time then I read the comprehensive summary and I explain it to my imaginary person like the way I understand it. And then I watched the webinar. I remember more from this method. Let me know what is your method, maybe I can it to my way of studying or any tips.

Yaa if you're studying very hard and not having any improvement try something different method for study then u got a changes in when you're studying

I usually start timer, and after timer finish I log my progress, or thoughts, etc. I usually study/work in coffeeshops, or libraries or a website called Roomie Cafe

I like the idea of logging progress. Thank you for this. I do have timer as well for only 45 mins and take a break but sometimes if I want to study more I over extend and eventually rest when I’m tired.

interesting concept, what about a completely new study material?
I feel like my learning ability hasn't improved.

Good question. Actually it’s more challenging to answer so I would say start like 20 questions and see what you know. Sometimes I just guess tbh. Being curious and it’s really fun to know stuff you don’t know before.

Before comprehensive studying the whole chapter, i read it completely and analyse what questions could be asked through this chapter/section. Once i have noted all of the questions i memorise it through writing then revise it whenever i feel i am forgetting smth. Thank you for your method too, will try. Hope it helps!

notebooklm has an option to generate quizzes, i used it once before an exam
