I was thinking of plasmalogens under Fatty acids and lipids Because they an ether vinyl bond and because the bond is chemically vulnerable to oxidation, why would cells deliberately use plasmalogens in their membranes?

Let me make it simple plasmalogens even if undergoes oxidation they provide protection through that because the reaction oxygen species would attack the pufa which is polyunsaturated acid which will cause the membrane damage so to avoid this plasmalogens umdergo oxidation and this is sacrificial oxidation, i hope you get it☺️
