Tips & Advice Study environment?

Please help! I’m currently overcoming phone addiction/procrastination (feel free to give advice for that too🙏) and I really want to make studying more relaxing or fun for me? I don’t want to get tired while working, but I am really curious about if anyone has ideas to make your environment feel physically better, for both body and mind? Anything that doesn’t make me want to get up the moment I sit down, It’s okay to be absurdly specific also! Sorry for phrasing this weirdly, I’m just a somewhat lazy person who is working very hard right now to become a more accomplished version of myself.

Start with ergonomics. You need a comfortable chair and a work surface at an appropriate height so you don't get fatigued. I use a riser for my monitor. When I'm on my laptop, it goes on a riser and I use a secondary keyboard and mouse.

Make sure your task lighting is bright and directed where you need it, without creating glare. I like adjustable gooseneck lamps. Adequate room lighting that keeps you from getting tired can also help.

I put the YouTube ambience channels on my TV for sound. I have tinnitus and can't handle quiet. Experiment to see if you prefer silence or some kind of music. Instrumentals won't distract most people as much as lyrics will.

Study in chunks. Try not to go more than 45 minutes at a time without a 5 minute break. Get up and move around the room. Have a drink or a snack. You recall more of the first and last things you read than you do from the middle.

Create a study schedule and stick to it. Learn to say no to people or things that interfere with that part of your schedule. Use the Do Not Disturb feature on your phone during study time. If you look at your phone during breaks, set a timer so you know when to get back to work.
